Where is this love was inspired by a movie Hyungwon saw called Closer. There is a scene in the movie that quotes the chorus. The movie stars Julia Roberts, Natalie portman, and Jude law.

Closer is such a good movie! Actually some quotes of that movie were used by Panic at the disco to name the songs of one of their records.

Almost half of the songs of Hyungwon and maybe more are inspired by the movies and films, it's so interesting how he perceived the other art form and reflects the feeling in his own art. I saw the video edit of "Where is this love" combined with the inspiration scene and to be honest it sounds like just the ost for that film or at least to that part for sure! And sung by Kihyun's beautiful voice 🤌🏻🤌🏻 I liked Kihyun's debut album, but I connected to the Youth album on emotional level, it was different 😅

at the voyager mv filming set, hyungwon said he didn't know that the album was a single album instead of mini, bcs he could've given kihyun a song. they kinda bicker about it 😂 so after voyager, hyungwon started working on songs for kihyun. kihyun asked him a jazz song so he made one. but after outputs from kihyun and some revisions, the jazz style completely changed 😂 then bad liar was born... hyungwon made bad liar bcs he loves kihyun low voice and he rarely showcases it. hyungwon watched kihyun's cover of Christopher's Bad then he thought it'll be nice to make a song with low register for kihyun, and he's right 🎉 these two work so well together, hyungwon knows what's best for kihyun's voice and skill, and kihyun knows what hyungwon wants and fill his expectation about the songs he writes. kihyun did said they match the best while recording 😂 also, what do you think about exploring kihyun's OSTs? he has a lot since (even before) debut until recently. my faves are 'full moon' (tale of the nine tailed 1938), 'fire' (the first responders), and 'again, spring' (welcome).
