Thank you for reacting to these ! "Follow" and "Find You" are still so hard to watch though. I've loved Monsta X since 2015 and what happened to Wonho was so hard. What made it worse is that my daughter and I were still reeling from Jonghyun's suicide (from Shinee...who we loved) less than 2 years yearlier and Wonho was getting soooo much hate so I was terrified about what state of mind he might be in. Also Jooheon looked really bad so I was worried about him too. "Find You" kinda became Wonho's song and was in alot of Wonho compilations afterwards. I know it sounds stupid but it was like going through a death. I didn't know if we would see Wonho again and if Monsta X would ever be the same or even continue. I'm so proud of them all though because Wonho kept fighting and has done so well in his solo career and Monsta X has continued to release banger after banger and never gave up. I love them all so much. ❤

So, Find You is about time travelling. Hyungwon lost his parents and he travels back in time to try to avoid it. He actually gets stuck between the two worlds and the boys try to find him and bring him back. The order to this storyline would be Find You, Dramarama and the Connect music film (this one you haven't reacted to yet and I highly recommend to understand better the story. The music is one of my favorites as well)

for me, shine forever is still high in my fav title tracks list 🤧 Follow: Find You album is actually sooo good, but it does kinda hard to watch Find You MV. so Find You MV is a pre-release, it was released a week before Follow MV. Follow was released on Oct 28, they performed it at the comeback vlive that night. Oct 31 is their first music show performance (MCountdown), they performed Follow, Find You, and Mirror. Just right after MCountdown aired, the announcement of wonho leaving the group was released. it was...... disaster, to say the least. but mx didn't take time off or sth like that. the VERY next day, they performed at Music Bank with swollen eyes and tired look (you can look it up if you want). the promotion continued. the fansigns were still being held. i remember the members wore outfits/accessories that were supposed to be wonho's (to bring him with them i think). mbbs made hashtags on twt abt wonho's reinstatement, but still did streaming and voting. i think at that time we just tried our best to stay sane and strong together.... uhh, I'm sorry for blabbering about this. but there's no way I'm not reminded of all the things that happened when I watch Follow and Find You 😔 anyway, you might want to be careful about their Japanese MVs bcs they're kinda strict about it, there are many cases where the reaction videos to JP MVs got taken down.

I haven’t personally had any problems with your audio/I think it sounds fine now if there was an issue. I actually thought since your first vid that the quality was nice and not like a new reactor at all and was impressed. For the unboxing I think do what you feel most comfortable with. Which is not helpful 😂 but I’m sure there are those of us that would be interested but only if you’re comfortable with putting it up Shine Forever was said to be a gift to the fans, so to me the video is more metaphorical and about the fans ‘shining forever.’ Like the glow sticks at the end surrounding them/Kihyun = lightsticks The Follow/Find You album I listened to a lot for comfort back then even though I know a lot of people didn’t and I completely understand why but it’s also such a shame because the album is sooo good even though it was such a painful time. Lord knows the amount of PTSD I experienced after Wonho left during 'Follow' promotions. At first, I couldn't listen to the song nor 'Find You' for that matter because I would picture the guys singing this for him. I would tear up during both songs but after Wonho came back as a soloist I tried my best to have them on my playlist. I have to say it worked and now both songs have a special place in my heart along with Wonho's debut song. Thank you for checking these songs, 'Shine Forever' is one of those songs that grab you and never let you go, it's that powerful. Also 'Find You' kinda shows Hyungwon's time travel story and his origins. Once you start watching the respective MVs more carefully you'll start noticing hints here and there. Also, make sure to react to 'Destroyer' trailer MV, it will you some pointers too!

I have been a monbebe since 2017. The hardest time was during the follow comeback because wonho left in the middle of the promotions. You can see the pain in the members face when he left. It was the hardest time as a monbebe I was soo excited for the comeback too I can’t listen to the follow album or the mv without crying. Joohoney had to take a mental health break afterwards.

Love Find you song and mv is beautiful, but yeah, there are a lot of memories that come with it But, it's prequel for the whole Time travelling saga of MX, how it all started and reasoning behind. Their story telling is particularly explained, but mostly vague and you can create your own theory on it and attach different parts from MVs, little signs and etc. Nobody knows what happened and where we are now, but the last time they mentioned the story was with the comeback teasers for each member with Fantasia album. I was a Monbebe of 4 months when Follow/Find You was released. It was my first comeback with them and my first ever album from them, all the Wonho thing hit us like a truck, it was hard, so many people left the fandom, those were dark times, they are such a strong and resilient bunch of people, my admiration goes out to them because just the night after Wonho's news hit, they were on stage, not sure if that one stage is still up, but, their faces, you could tell the sadness and anger, it's a stage that doesn't have many views, I don't even know if it's still up there. I'm really enjoying your journey I find it so weird to listen to this version of Shine Forever cause I always listen to the Japanese version, actually I like that one better (don't ask me why because I don't know) Maybe that's why I can't remember that MV at all even tho I'm sure that I have watched it before. Honestly speaking, I can't imagine how many things we as fans didn't get to see because of everything that happend in 2019. It was a complete mess that ended with thons of sad hearts, until this day I'm mad at all this injustice for my boys. I can't imagine how difficult those times were to them. Shine Forever is one of my favorite songs of Monsta X, I feel that Find U and Follow were prophetic MVs of what would happen to the group, it was not a pleasant era for Monbebe, we suffered a lot, but we support them 100% daily and that is why they are still here. For me, Follow is a gem of an Album and they would explode in fame with that CB, someone knew it and that's why they planned everything to make them fall and separate them, but thank God that didn't happen! Ride With U is one of my favorite songs from No Limit Album.

The album FOLLOW can be described as my nightmare. I fell in love with them at the beginning of 2019, FOLLOW was my first comeback with them and I was so excited and I loved this title track. But after that, what happened with Wonho, it broke my heart that the members had to continue working. Shine Forever was a turning point in Monbebe world. We were still a pretty young and small size fandom at the time, but i was so proud of us because we went head to head with EXO who had a larger more established fandom. They beat us, of course, but we really gave them a run for the money as the battle for first place went back and forth many times.

I read a theory made by a monbebe, Shine forever story is about Kihyun's character who died (symbolized with the blindfold). Minhyuk is feeling guilty because he was the one who was driving the car. The others blamed Minhyuk and still can't let got of Kihyun, making him sort of hanging there in the fog. The ending where they all stand in the field with the lights are them finally letting go of Kihyun and that's why he finally opened his blindfold symbolizing him finally can go on. For the time travel arc I think the main story's chronology is like this: Find You - Dramarama - Monsta X The Connect: D - The Connect World Tour VCR#2 - Kiss or Death Plus some mvs which have loosely connection (you can see the clock references like in Alligator, Follow, Fantasia As others also have recommend these, please check out Monsta Truck, If With U

OKAY, get ready for a rant about my understanding and headcanons of their Time Travel: Their time travel stuff is so interesting and almost all of their music videos have some hints to it as well. Basically, in Find You, we learn that Hyungwon lost his parents and his dad had created a time travel watch but when Hyungwon used it, it was broken meaning it didn't work right and he got lost in the time stream-- hence all the water imagery. The others presumably found Hyungwon's dads research and attempted to follow him and rescue him from being lost in time, but it also doesn't work. So instead they kinda break the timeline and they all end up living different lives. (My theory is that they kinda fractured with the break too so that's why I think all their MVs are connected, just showing them living different lives in the multiverse) This is shown during the end of Find You where they all are completely separated. It's a direct prequel to Dramarama where we see more of where they ended up in this new timeline. Hyungwon was spit out in the new timeline but he's the only one who remembers the previous timeline where they were all friends. He feels completely alone- and it's assumed that he's failed to fix the timeline because he was in the papers, so people know about him messing with time--but decides to try to help his friends with their problems. So, in Dramarama he gives some of them watches. Wonho to visit Shownu in the past, Minhyuk to save his childhood friend from (presumably) an early death, and Kihyun to save Jooheon from a deadly car crash. After that it seems he tried to fix time again because the next thing is The Connect: D which is a short film that shows them living different lives again. I won't spoil it since you haven't seen it. It, too seems to be a direct prequel to Kiss or Death. The timeline order vs the when they came out order is all outta whack, which I think is intentional because it's time travel and wibbly wobbly timey wimey lmao. Anyway that's just how I feel about it, what do you think?
