I think honestly Jooheon is among the most overall talented idols in the whole industry. He's just so good at everything, and I feel like he really exemplifies the vibe of Monsta X.

About I.M and him vs the other guys during No Mercy: At the end of the day, it was a competition, you get a spot in the group. you've secured your debut, a shot to live your dream. You get eliminated, you go back to training and questioning IF or When you'll debut. So obviously everyone is desperate, tensions are high, and people will say and do things they don't mean. Not to mention, I'm sure they edited it to make everything seem worse than what it was. So I can see it from both sides, I.M was given this opportunity to get on the competition later, it's a chance to debut, so of course he wanted to take it. At the same time, the guys weren't very happy with that idea because it's not fair that they had to fight to survive from the beginning and he came on later, plus its one more person competing. So to me, whatever happened, whatever they said or did on the show, it's the past, it was a competition, don't hold on to it. I'm sure they don't want to hear about it either.

it’s funny that you said that probably a lot of younger idols look up to jooheon. he and hyungwon are the hosts of idol radio and a lot of groups come to guest and promote their new songs. and so far i haven’t seen a single 4th gen group who hasn’t at least one member that is a monbebe and there are soooo many of them who say jooheon is their role model and they all really respect him! but not only 4th ten idols also a lot of other artists really like and admire him. he’s just suuuuper insanely talented, but also a really sweet and supportive person 💜

It was almost like Joohoney IS the Ace of the group. The Jack of All Trades. He Raps best. But he dances, sings, acts (in the acting challenges), and write and produce songs so well. He's man of so many talents to count.

Ah, I do wish these had been updated, because there are so many things that have happened since then, like solos and new music and Jooheon writing title tracks. These two are so precious and so unique and different, so vibrant and full of life. I adore them for different reasons. I couldn't pick an MX bias because the wrecking story would have had all members trying to wreck whomever I chose first, so I just gave up, and I'm OT6/7. Despite being the maknae, I.M has always struck me as being one of the "old souls" types, and I feel like it comes through in the moodiness (not bad!) and vibe of his music and personality. And he's just ridiculously sexy. I don't mean that just as a physical presence, but everything he does has an undertone of confident self-awareness that is just... sexy. The soft voice, the lyrics that hint at really naughty things but don't cross the line and keep it respectful (and still make you think, "oh!"), and honestly the way his body moves when he dances is like effortlessly attractive (see: kzbin.info/www/bejne/foamqISJbNiEd8k and die here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGjEe6SLot53iqs good lawd). And Jooheon's duality is unrivaled. He's such a beautiful person in every way, and it shows when he's doing anything that he has a passion for, which seems to be life in general. There's a great variety show where he and GOT7's Jackson Wang hang out for an evening, and it's the most wholesome thing ever. Glad you're loving them and learning more about them! About that interviewer you thought might have sounded condescending- i believe she became pretty friendly/ close with them before that interview was done so i didn’t think her intention was bad. There’s been a lot of interviews and content since 2019 so there’s more about the members we know now, more than what’s here in these old guides (like some character developments and improvements with skills) so if you do end up stanning, there’s a lot more out there now to check out and get a better feel for each member.

Wahh i waited for this. So excited for part 5. If you're planning to react to some live performances there are so many, but maybe the it's live performances of Gambler and Secrets would be a good way to start. Their concert clips too of Lost in the Dream, Sambakja are toptier performances. Their performance of UR for Hidden Track and Sorry I'm not Sorry. For year end awards their performance of BEASTMODE at MMA is a stand out. Also, their performance of Stand Together at AAA. There are also performances on Radio shows that are a stand out. I could go on and on. But really they're ridiculously good live as well.

My bias is the leader Shownu, but Joohoney is actually the first one I've noticed and remembered when I knew nothing about this group back then. He amazed me with his voice and dance, and obviously he's the main rapper. He's just very, very impressive.

Just in time after the first part 😍 I subscribed for the MX week, didn't know much about you or your channel, but I'm falling in love with you 🤩 loving your energy, your thoughts, comments. And it's very nice to see you falling in love with each member hahaha I can relate, I love of them so much. I can't pick a bias, because all of them keep wrecking me. Also, if you want some suggestion for live performance: Gambler and Secrets by It's Live. There's no dance but you can hear the amazing vocals with the live band. I hope you end up being interested in knowing more about them after the week, but it's totally ok if you don't. I'm already grateful for this whole week 💛

At 1:11:26 where they're doing an IHeartRadio interview - that is Ellie Lee. I think the clip may have not shown her character well, but she has interviewed MANY KPOP groups and KPOP artists and is actually REALLY good at making them comfortable and vibing. She even interviewed Lay (that interview....is SO good), Jackson Wang, EXO multiple times, and BTS...so many groups. I LOVE her interviews. The EXO ones are great. They're all funny lol and I have rewatched many of them.

The thing with idol rappers is that they are not rapper since the beginning, a lot of them (the most part) are rappers because in kpop the group needs to have rappers. That's why the rappers out there have some hate on them. I don't think any hate can be good; AND a lot of pop singers try rap just to some music; that's okay. The guy in SMTM that Jooheon dissed, he really seems to hate idol rappers hahahah

Please listen to Bruno Mars Versace on the Floor in your free time. Bruno’s songs are incredibly hard to sing because he is like a musical and vocal genius with a unmatched voice. But Monsta x did a great job with the cover. Also most of the songs they showed that Jooheon sung in this video are from BigBang or their solo works form BigBang members which is gray because I am a forever stan of BigBang

They are an alternative rock band, but their music varies from anthemic pop-rock songs to ballads. Their music is unlike many other rock bands. Also, my bias is Younghoon. His vocals are off the charts.
