These kinds of rolls are awesome. In college, my buddy and I always went in half and half. We shared the winnings. He lost his $100. I won $130, so I gave him $65. He turned that $65 on a $5 table into $1500. $750 for me. :) Only 1 shooter on a 20-30 minute roll. My buddy was the shooter, and when he finally 7'd out, he had about $400 on the table. All the hard ways and almost every number was covered. Sick roll.

Random rollers and dice setters also both have long rolls and also both have PSO's. Neither one of them affect you and how you live your life so why all the hate?

Look to see if the shooter is a dice controller. That's the guy who mostlikely has an edge. However, dice controllers are rare. I've made numerous trips to Atlantic City and haven't run into one. I was helled the dice for an hour at a Casino Some people made a shitload of money on that roll and yes I'm a dice controller. It just takes dedicated practice and proper betting to gain an advantage.

I was at the Four Queens on Freemont street a couple months ago. The way I play is to just keep putting up come bets with odds. This blind guy had a roll like this of 30+, I was up next and had my best roll ever, it was 30+ also. I won about $2,000. Wish I would have known the rolls we were going to have. Gotta love when the dice are hot.

Those were come bets. When they hit, they come down. The hard 4s stayed up because the players re-bet, and the dealer’s left them there.

I played a couple of sessions at Ocean Resort in Atlantic City! I did really well on the Don't! People on the Pass were getting destroyed! Some guy, who wasn't even setting the dice wiped me out on three hands in a row! The five count works well, a lot of people lost money with a fast seven! You need to trust the shooter!!!!!!

I seem to throw a bit softer from SR1 and it's an easier location to get to at the table. Everyone wants SL1. I am right handed and throw just fine from SL2 but I practice from SR1. I do have to watch and turn my wrist a bit counterclockwise to get my dice to return of the wall straight. I practice with a red die on the right and an off color die on the left so I can see how the return. I am looking to have then stop close to the back wall and the red die on the right and the off color die on the left. Just an FYI. Throw from a variety of positions and watch the action on the dice.

They place a come bet at the 8 min mark, and a 5 hits, they add odds. Then at the 10:30 mark it seems like they roll a 7 (paying the pass line) but they give them their come bet odds from the 5 and 8 back, before taking the initial 10 dollar bet. What am I missing here?

MrJrboyer You aren’t missing anything. They did it correctly. If a shooter rolls a 7 on the come-out of a new game, the player loses the Flat Come bet, but is returned their Come Odds. Hope that helps.

Yes. They would be paid their odds. But, if the point is made, the Come bets and odds stay up for the next round. They play just like a Pass line bet. They win when the number they're on hits.

I feel like you are saying the odds aren't working kind of like if people call "off" on thier hard ways when there is no point. If I have a come bet on the 5 with odds and no point is established and a 7 is rolled it sounds like you lose the flat bet but get the odds back as if you took them down. Which I know on the pass line you can always take your odds bet down. But this should also mean you only get paid your flat bet if they roll a 5 and that becomes the new pass line point. And last question if I am right about my analysis... is this a choice by the player whether your come odds are working or off during a new comeout roll.

At 7:45 the shooters hits an 8. They pay out the come bets but not the odds bets on the come bets. The dealer just flips the odds bet over to the 6 with no payout? Or am I missing something

Odds on Come bets are OFF when establishing a new point, but the flat Come bet is on. Thus, they were paid for their Flat Come bets, and not the Odds bet, which they had moved to the 6.

You can turn them on, but you run the risk of losing ALL your odds along with the flat come bets if someone rolls a 7 on the come out. Best to keep the odds off on the come out.

It is funny to watch players who play but do not know even some of the basics. When I finally decided to start playing craps I went to the Gold Coast Casino in Las Vegas Nevada. On a cruise for my son's graduation, I was playing craps and holding even after about an hour. My wife comes over to say goodnight. She plays and has crazy good luck at slots. I asked her if she wanted to play and she says she doesn't know how. It was going to be my throw, so I laid $5 on the pass line for her. Well, I hit a couple of numbers and 7ed out. So I put a an $5 down for her so she could roll. So after about an hour and a half.....she had rolled 14 passes! Not to mention all of the numbers in between. With only one 7 and 2 11s on come out rolls! To say the least it was party time! A guy at the other end of the table came up to us afterward and told us she had rolled 14 passes and he'd been playing craps for over 40 years and had never seen a roll like that. It was a great time!

You say that you like women shooters but don't know why. I will speculate that women throw less aggressive and achieve smaller spread with less randomissation. I think us guys always think we know what we're doing plus generally we are stronger and it's easy to turn off that strength and go to flow/soft throw without practice. Whenever I go to shoot some free throws I need to focus not on getting the ball to the hoop like women or weaker men do but to soften my throw. To make it more smooth and not so brute force.

Da Alv Yes. 7. But nobody lost. The point hasn’t been established. So, if you roll a 7 or 11, and you have bets on the Pass line, you win. Once a point is established, you are trying to roll for that point again before a 7 is rolled.

Because they already had a bet on the Come bar (they didn't when the 10 hit), and the players had previously told the dealer they wanted to keep their Come bet on the bar when it hit the 10, moving/returning the players their chips from all the positions would be pointless if they were just going to be making the same bets again. The bets on the 4 would come down, the Come bar bets would go up to the 4, and the players would put new bets on the Come bar. All completely unnecessary if the dealer knows your betting routine. That, or the dealer wasn't paying attention. Hope that makes sens, and that I'm correct. Maybe someone can clarify it.

It's legal. You can add more to your pass line bet after the point, but not reduce. You can decrease your Dont Pass, but not increase it. It only benefits the house when you add on your pass line after the point is established.

2 Days ago I went to the Horseshoe Casino in Shreveport/Bossier City, La, and rolled for 30 min. I'm a low roller, but I walked away $900 richer. I follow the Bone Thrower and I was setting my dice the same way every roll and throwing in an arc to the other end, attempting to bounce it between the pass line and the wall. It worked very well. I know it's not an exact science, but everyone at the table was happy.

On the opening roll...your 7-out wipes out any come bets and pays you on your pass line bet. However, you get your odds back on the 7 out for those come bets. Only on the opening roll though. If you look, he is just taking the odds off the top of the come bets and giving them back and keeping the original come bet.

Still one of my favorite places to play craps. Had a shooter there once that did not hit a SINGLE seven for about 40 minutes. Not on the come out roll even, just none of them. Which, is just...never tell me the odds..type stuff. Lady next to him yelled "c'mon Tommy Boy!" before every roll. Turns out the guys name was Mike. Same crew every time I go back to Vegas it seems like. Only sad they took the 1$ ATM out!

Looks like he had 2 skips on the dice hence a lot of craps and yos and few sevens on a come out. If my shooting is off and I can't roll real good, then I bring the heater and throw as hard as I can. It works but I cut a dealer throwing the dice so hard. After 30 throws my elbow starts hurting.

Always love seeing videos of a fellow "random" shooter not using dice control methods have an extended session. So many dice control fantastic like to give us randoms so much grief. People made a lot off this shooter.

The Bearded Thumb I personally believe in dice control, but I will NEVER give a random shooter grief about having an occasional long streak. Random shooters don’t have as many long streaks as a well-trained and properly disciplined dice controller, but they do happen. I think the thing that people who don’t subscribe to dice control don’t understand is that just because someone sets the dice, doesn’t mean they know what they’re doing. I’ve seen TONS of dice control posers set the dice, grab them, tap them on the table, then chuck them like a random shooter, and then they wonder why they only have 3 rolls or PSO so quickly. It’s the plethora of THOSE shooters that makes dealers and random shooters, like yourself, think dice control doesn’t work. A REAL dice controller knows how to PROPERLY set, grip, aim, toss, etc. the dice and actually practices for HOURS and HOURS at home to actually have a positive outcome. It’s just like a pro golfer. There’s A LOT of variables that go into that swing that have to be practiced OVER AND OVER AND OVER in order to shave strokes off their game and be considered a pro. Dice control does NOT guarantee you’ll stave off 7 ever coming up. But, just like in golf, if you PROPERLY practice it enough, you can have some influence on the outcome more often than randomly throwing the dice. Oh, and those pyramids on the wall? A REAL dice controller knows how to avoid them and still get them to voice off the wall as per the rules.

@@InsidetheCasino I respect the art of dice control. My issue tends to be more with the poser crowd you referred to. They tend to be the ones that get so flustered when the dice get to me and they see I throw randomly. Yet they sit there set the dice, shake their arm out, grab them from a particular angle, tap the table, pump fake a couple times, then throw, just to crap out 2-3 rolls after getting a point. To where I could say "Your rant about me being a random thrower, was longer than your turn was." But I've also seen people who can do their dice control methods quickly, efficiently and have nice runs. I juat go in with a "I don't bash your method, so don't bash mine" approach But even the worst person upset about me being a random thrower doesn't come close to the level of hostility you'll find at a black jack table.

emoe40 That’s because they played the 4 again. If you’ve been at the table a while, most dealers pay attention to how you’re betting and will keep your bets up or make them for you unless you tell them otherwise.
