Played this game recently, it has aged well, still a lot of fun. I'm disappointed in how few people are familiar with this games, they didn't even know when to clap when CapnClever did something really difficult.

Looking back at this game some 25+ years later.. how the feck did I ever complete this as a kid..? I remember the giant couch level and I also remember the ending where you get boiled.. it gave me nightmares as a kid. Same as the Cosmo's cosmic adventures ending gave me nightmares along with its spooky forest level. Despite all that, they helped me grow out of being afraid of the dark and other things, in a sense being exposed to scary things at an early age helped me not be scared of things as an adult, funny how that worked out.

It's so awesome to see Apogee represented here. Apogee/id Software games introduced me to PC gaming and were a HUGE part of my childhood. Hope to see more next year. A Bio-Menace or Rise of the Triad speedrun would be sick.

I've been playing this game since I was 3 years old in 1993, and I am amazed by this. So much respect that he's playing it in its original aspect ratio. The barking cat was a trip, too.

I had fun memories playing this game. The copy my cousin had is pretty different from this run for some odd reason. I find it strange that level 4, the dragon change places from start to the end of the level, depending on what version you have. I wounder why.

Great run, good commentary by runner. I only ever got to the first level of the mansion as a kid and could never find all the animals in it. Nice to see it being fully done. Maybe do all 3 episodes in a row next time? :D

I might have to give this game another go. Hopefully I can play with save states now, or there is a code for infinite lives or something. I made it to the house levels after the first caves a couple of times..but that was it.
