Hunted moose all my life and one of the most memorable memories I have was meeting a Lynx within 20 feet back in the 1960's away up in Northern Canada . We were both surprised, and looked at each other eye to eye for about 10 seconds before he took off. One of the truly great and most beautiful creatures around. Thanks for not shooting it

I don’t understand how using a distressed animal call to lore in a predictor looking for a meal is considered hunting.......where is the hunt?
@fasx565 жыл бұрын
The Bobcat is a preditor of deer but they are rather a noble animal that most people admire and like to look at and they do not survive habitat destruction like Coyotes do.Coyotes can and do live in many urban city parks and kill cats and small dogs for a living, they need to be thinned down.

I got a full grown lynx/bobcat cross that husband broke its leg and refused to allow his wife to take her during a violet divorce. Cat was crazy with pain and fear but she eventually figuired out the situation was better than what he had done to her. My k9 wasn't REAL happy with having a 3 legged chainsaw in the house but he let her be. They never would be what Id call freinds but peaceful on my small john boat when we went fishing.I often wondered if they could work things out and coexist and people CAN'T. .who is really the dumb animal? Us or them? She would drag hit clothes from dryer and lay on them and slept on top of fridge. I came home from work to find her atop the chest of a very frightened woukd be burglar. I almost felt sorry for him! She could leap prettyb high and was pretty good sized so Im sure she could have taken down a deer if she were wild .She was as alert as GSD and okay with me but it took her a while to allow the deputy Coworkers with ..to pet her but she was a good companion.

Stephen. I hope you wouldn't shoot a magnificent cat like that, even if you had permission. Do you know why we have so many coyotes and feral pigs? It's because we killed all the apex predators like Grizzlies, mountain lions and wolves that used to be so abundant. Why? To make it safe. Now you kill all the bobcats? Expect to be over run with varmits. Btw, the next time you see the state flag of CA, notice the Grizzle Bear. You know how many are left in the state of CA? Zero.

Should we be thankfull to the people who kill beautiful animals like this? I mean, if they did not kill so many wild animals we would see the animals often enough in our lives so that we would not find the experience any fascinating, we probably would not Even mentioned a encounter to our friends / family.. Or Should we judge them and let them know that it would be much better if they killed human predators / top tier criminals instead?
@fredrikxx2867 Жыл бұрын
It would be cool if all weapons haad like 10% chance to shoot the shooter in the brain, the % chance to shoot the shooter should be calculated by AI, wired with electrodes to the shooters brain, depending on where the shooter is going to hit it, hit it perfekt, 1 shot 1 kill finished should be 10% to get a headshot back in your own brain, shooting or Even aiming for a place where the animals would just get injured, should be 100% leg selfshot as warning, just for aiming. People would have to pay more respect to firearms then, now they just say they have respect for it, most of them dont Even try it out on themself either... Why try it on others when you scared of it happening to yourself unless its for a good cause or self defense.. No answer here will be a good answer.

Why would you want a mount to commemorate a cowardly act of fooling a beautiful animal to come close to you so that you can shoot it ? There’s no skill or fairness in that.
