creepiest thing was seeing that spider slowly move to grab its prey. "a grasping hand" is the perfect description for it.

Or that they didn't make a simultaneous leap toward each other only to both die in a squishy explosion of green buggy bits (immediately swept out of view by a horde of argentine ants). Stupid katydids.

@@MightBeSmart How would you know ?
@MightBeSmart
@MightBeSmart 3 жыл бұрын
@@aaronkirby3108 first of all, the socalled doctors are just actors claimed to be. Second the Brazilian wandering spider she say kills several people every year, not true, yes, some have died of it, but not due to its venom, except for elderly and kids, but it rarely happens. And there more than one species of Brazilian wandering spiders and only a few is considered potentially lethal, but in 90% (maybe more or maybe less) who are bitten by these spiders don't need anti venom. Just look at the Sidney funnel web spider which is the most venomous spiders if them all (I know scientists fight over this claim) and rarely people are treated with anti-venom, an normal healthy persons immune system is most likely to neutralize the venom by it self. Of course exceptions does happen. But death by spiders are pretty rare, their venom is not made to kill humans, and most spider bites are dry bites, Just read about all the fake farts about black widows and the recluse, I have been bitten by both on purpose, I still have all my limbs and nothing rotten away (neurotoxins hurts like hell though), those who rarely dies of spider bites are elderly, kids, people with known & unknown health issues, and the die of asomething chok, can't remember the name of it, it's not like snakes that injects insane amounts of venom each bite. Unfortunately discovery tell to many untrue facts just to dramatize and make it more entertaining. This is how people gets fooled to believe in made-up facts. I my self is a huge spider enthusiast, I have lots of species, my biggest passion. Just a quick fact, those who lose limbs after been bitten by spiders are due to bacteria infections and not the bite or venom it self. Therefore, if you ever get bitten by any kind of animal, not only spiders and snakes etc, don't scratch it, you are probably the who infect the bite wound.

Gosh this show creates so much curiosity in me

many possibilities but monster bug wars is, well was more for giving knowledge while mantaining our attention, how? with interesting fights like this, they probably recorded the fight between two when tey saw them near each other and recorded other two from the same species for the intro of each one. LIke "hey look thats a black jungle stalker and a brazilian wandering spider, hey you, find another brazilian wandering spider and black jungle spider while they hunt, and you record these two guys"

Tyler Kratz Clearly they can move entire ant colonies around for the show right?
@JadeLeaf1980
@JadeLeaf1980 6 жыл бұрын
they wouldn't need to move an entire colony, all they'd need is a mated queen and the right conditions for her to lay. In a few months you'd have a colony the size of what is shown here - watch the AntsCanada channel, he's literally started with a queen and ended up with over population in several tanks in five months. Really all they'd have to do is have a large tank set up with a realistic environment, a colony bred in captivity and to introduce various creatures near to the ants...they'd eventually stumble on it while scouting for new resources.

+CrazyYanmega Yanmega vs Mega Beedrill on the next Monster Bug Wars! :p
@CrazyYanmega
@CrazyYanmega 8 жыл бұрын
+BlazingWarwolf This face-off depends entirely if Beedrill is in Mega Form at the start of the battle or carries Protect to let it Mega Evolve before Yanmega can attack it. A normal Beedrill is unlikely to be able to survive a Life Orb boosted STAB Air Slash, and Yanmega is initially faster than Beedrill. However, Mega Beedrill, with its base 150 Attack and Speed, totally outclasses Yanmega. Even with its semi decent defenses, Yanmega would be skewered in this outcome.
@BlazingWarwolf
@BlazingWarwolf 8 жыл бұрын
CrazyYanmega Wow, you put a lot of thought into this one. Lol. Didn't expect to see statistics. Yanmega is a cool bug type though. One of my favorite bug type Pokemon. It would be interesting if they also give it a mega evolution. I've actually seen someone else wanting that before too. If they do give it one, and if its stats rival Mega Beedrill's, it'd make for a great, has-to-be-filmed fight on Monster Bug Wars! Lol.

i don't get how praying mantises have any chance against these "opponents". The mantis has jaws and claws, but the spider has venom. That's like if you tried to fight someone with your fists and they have a tranquilizer gun.
