To the producers above bug Wars I really appreciate what you have done with this Channel on KZbin it educates and gets people to understand the true effect and meaning of insects other than that it makes me sick to my stomach when I look at other KZbin videos where they take a tank and put one insect that doesn't belong in the same tank with another just to see them fight thank you for making this an educational situation to show how it is in the natural world of insects rather than doing it the wrong way and giving the wrong message to wear things die for no apparent reason

That red thighed spider may have lost a leg in the Initial ambush but it jumped back and around the branch positioning itself directly behind the scorpion. It could have gone right in for it's tail as the scorpion was chewing on it's free spider leg

@Daniel Allaire Mantises are really kind of crappy against anything roughly their own size, but against prey that fit in their claws, they're the schoolyard bullies of the bug world. Tiger beetles are tough, but unless it found the mantis from behind, and immediately went for it, there was no way that it was going to win that fight. The only fair fight I've seen the mantis win on this show was against the rock spider, and even Linda said that she thought the spider would win.

@Daniel Allaire Thanks for bringing the spiny leaf insect up. Obligate herbivores also have a perfect record of defeat on this show. There was no herbivore on the show that beat anything that wanted to eat it. Think about it like this: the leaf insect's win condition was to get away. That would have ended the "fight" inconclusively. The only way for the fight to have a conclusive finish was for the mantis to win, because if it had lost to the leaf insect, they wouldn't have shown it since it wouldn't have died.
