Didn’t think I would like the new format but you can’t deny that in the old format, a skater does their trick and may potentially wait multiple minutes before getting another attempt. In this format at least they stay warm and in rhythm. Cool idea, I liked the style score in the winter X events too. All this said WHY NO REAL STREET AGAIN THE SKATE AND BIKE LAST SUMMER WAS THE COOLEST EVENTS AT X IN YEARS!!!

I don’t like this format for a best trick contest. Putting skaters 1v1 is a decent idea but Nyjah is just going to knock out whoever you put him against anyways. Jamie Foy could have been on the podium if he weren’t put against Nyjah in the first round. It should just stay Jam format with multiple rounds and the lowest ranking skaters eliminated each round until the final round which could be a 1v1. This way every skater has the same chance to make it to the finals. This format is whoever gets the better match up makes it further which isn’t fair.

Tbh I like the 1v1 format because it reminds me of SKATE for the camaraderie we see (Gonzalez/Vienna was highly fun to watch) but all just on a single handrail is awful design. Get score system back and or have skaters share in choosing a specific spot(s) to skate for BT and compile highest scores from all spots skated for someone to move on.

I hate how Nyjah refused to give courtesy to Ryan or Felipe. For the most part when he did his trick he would go up the stairs instead of around and I felt like it threw the skaters off because they had to also make sure Nyah was safe. That's just my opinion. GGs
