The month of March was the peak for trevallies, bringing forth unimaginable tide coefficients that were a perfect hunting ground for monster trevallies. It was an honor to break my personal best on this fateful day with the K8 Conquest II. I've been on a few offshore trips before, but this is definitely one of the most memorable days. The Garmin fish finder sonar was flooded with red signals, birds were flying above us, and the captain was experienced enough to maneuver his ship so that we were positioned above the entire school. Not only did we bring home a dream catch, but we also forged unforgettable memories.
High tidal coefficients can create more favorable fishing conditions for several reasons:
Increased Water Movement: High tidal coefficients lead to stronger tidal currents and a greater exchange of water between offshore and inshore areas. Dynamic Fishing Environment: High tidal coefficients often coincide with dynamic changes in water conditions, such as water temperature, salinity, and oxygen levels. These fluctuations can influence fish behavior and feeding patterns, making fishing more challenging and exciting for anglers.
