We were city folks from Louisiana and it was a surprise the first time we witnessed it. My former husband used to gig for frogs in Slidell, La.

The one thing that binds all cultures together is their love for their traditional cooking. FOOD is the universal basis for all cultures and the Cajun culture sure uses what God blessed the swamps with! Amphibians galore and I have had Frog legs before and they are pretty good, I can see how they have become an intrinsic part of Cajun food. because that is one thing the swamps will always have, are frogs!
