Since he never got to live a normal live as a grown man(spoilers), he’s empathetic to her plight as a cursed individual, instead of the fact she simply -looks- young. Spoilers 2 - Electric Boogaloo: In the comics, Robot successfully makes a belt to stop her from aging when she transforms. Additionally, Robot also grows older over the course of the series. No rewinding tricks here.

now that I think about it, it's actually the best power. You don't need to do any superhero bs, just chill and use it every once in a while to remain in your prime. You live as long as you want, can pretty much always go down and up in age to try new things. If you're ever in trouble you get the big regeneration and transformation. For those who confuse it with the "loli" trope: Monster Girl is about 28 in the comics. Each time she transforms into a monster, her body cannot form her original cells correctly, so she's being reverted back into a child. Eventually, she could actually turn into a baby. I'd love to go into more details, as she's super cool, but I won't spoil anything (Since idk what the show will do with the stuff). I will say that her Troll form is entirely male. Her troll becomes bigger and stronger as she becomes younger. She's well aware how her body puts her at a disadvantage. Someone is either a predator or underage, so what Rudy did is pretty strange. Because he was a predator, technically. Now he's a child too, but also.. Not? The comics help. The way she got cursed is sad though. She's like my favorite character, since she's just so complicated. I love how she wasn't all "Awww omg he became a child for me" like other shows would. She was realistic with the whole "Dude wtf"

As much as it’s kinda made out to be a joke the thought of being an adult in a preteen body would be seriously horrifying.
