wow, this was REALLY really good! at the end when the lawyer said "do you really think we are different?" - my answer: Yes you are different - at least Taeseok felt regret/sadness/anguish/pain/torment over what took place - the lawyer on the other hand is a true monster.

from what i understood...when defense attorney said that, he was also referring to the prosecutor. after all the effort that he did to reveal the truth, yet he is still being cheated by his boss, the father and taeseok. he knew nothing what is happening behind him. at the end, he is just same as the other, trapped by all the corruption and money or at least "a puppet" to the superior.

I was actually feeling sorry for him being blamed for killing her when it was the fact that he didn't help is part of the reason she died. I can understand him blocking that kind of thing out b/c he might go crazy if he remembered so as far as endings go that was a good one.

Fantastic drama, I love the acting and plot twists spoiler alert! I think the prosecutor in the end did the cheating since he didn't want the real killer (in this case the lawyer) get away. and while doing that he got contacts with the rich father too, a win-win for him and taeseok but it cost him his will to keep things in justice and truth. He sacrifices his own morals to get the real murderer, knowing once he taste the feeling of cheating, he'll keep doing it again and again.

v7 bts cheating for them means doing illegal/wrong act to get what they want in the end, in this case erasing evidences and covering the truth. If the truth come out that Taeseok know the girl was alive in the last moment he can be charged as well, but it was covered so they can catch the "bigger fish" but also covering up for another criminals. In the end the prosecutor can catch the lawyer, freeing Taeseok and he can have good connections with the rich ppl (still not sure if he did this for money or for something else)

Don't read the comments before watching it all (luckily i didn't until after i watched it all)! but this is probably one of the best drama specials on this channel (i've watched almost all of them. no shame haha) it was definitely unexpected and the acting was great! it felt like i was watching the korean law and order with the twists and ending. totally recommending this to my friend who likes kdramas!

Wow! This one is really good! I think at the end, the prosecutor knew about Taeseok knowing that the girl is still alive and not helping her. But throughout the whole investigation, he realized that Taeseok himself is a victim. He suffered so much from his childhood upto the time of his prosecution :-(

Thus the saying a good apple surrounded by a rotten ones will turn rotten too... I still pity the boy tho, he became like that because of his fears due to the accident he went through that no one should ever experience, but the fact that he didn't fight his fear when he saw that the girl is still alive doesn't justify it. In the end it will only add to the guilt he's feeling because of the death of his mother when he couldn't call the ambulance in time.

At least he turned the lawyer in but allowing that girl to die will hunt him for the rest of his life. Sometimes we think there is no justice when a killer gets off but we don’t know the torment they receive each day living with the image of the dead person in their head on a daily basis. I know I won’t be able to live with it. At least when you are in prison you feel less guilty and more at peace because you are doing the time for your crime.

Pretty good. A father and a son have both a low sense of morality, the father due to ruthlessness, the son due to immaturity and also his childhood trauma. In their weakest moment, they show their ugly faces and turn towards a psychopath to fix things. The title tells the main theme: Every actor in this drama has a monster inside him, some more and some less.

A murder or a 21 year old woman was committed. Han Taeseok is a student of a prestigious university thinks he actually kills Mina because he strangled her and pushed her and there was blood everywhere. Aura Desru I agree communism does not work because people are flawed just like how pure democracy would not work in the real world for a village or a nation because of the size and wants of its citizens. Capitalism works when those with capital/money continue to pour back into the economy and do not hoard it. Sharing money with the poor, by just taking from one person and giving it to another just because they exist, is like throwing your money into a money pit. Instead, one should invest in another to promote growth.
