How you get a upgrade on DJ before the boss battle?

When you beat the game for the first time and unlock Hard Mode, you start with a Ruby Key that is used to unlock the ruby door to the right in the lobby, which leads to the Thou Art Dead arcade machine. You have to beat Skull's high score of 50,000 in Thou Art Dead, which then opens a passage way to a chest with the Doom Bringer 3000.

I like this game. Good Game. Boss fights were cool, but repeating the Constance fight three times was mayhaps excessive. Two times would have been perfect, in the attic, and then in basement 3.

Take the elevator to the 4th floor. Go to the left. There is a room with a fireplace and a grey chair. Go up, you I'll find an old clock. Pull it and jump there.
