Today I had my two Fighter palicoes (level 14 and 16, basic equipment) go after a Great Jaggi and I did not assist them in any way, shape, or form. They killed it in seven minutes. I'm so proud of them. *sniff*

+Garuu Spike dang thats op. You should a support 3 and bombing 2 type build, that way ur palicoes can attack with bombs, trap the enemy and bomb the enemie while its in the trap.

I don't really care for bombing palicos. I main an insect glaive, so they almost always hit me as well and completely mess me up, so they aren't worth the extra little bit of damage. I'm currently using a 2 healing/2 support setup with one fighting type just to keep leadership forte on my main. I get the health horn ability and shock traps(which are BY FAR the best option for every possible situation in my opinion), and that's all I really need.

That'll be the Rath-of-Meow Team Attack - your 1st Stringer will have that move as it's team attack, and combined they will perform it.

What I'd like to know is how to access certain variants of Palico Skills, such as Rath-Of-Meow+, Flying-D-Bomb, etc., as well as learn what all the differences are. Some of them, like Rath-Of-Revenge, are rather vague, and no place on the internet seems able to divulge the information regarding them.

really wish Rise would have Forte ability like this, one thing I noticed the skill Rath-o-meow actually work like a defensive guard for palico when they use it. Having a Forte mechanic make it so that two palico will ride together in Rath-o-meow so two palico's can survive longer in the heat of battle. Of course palico Ai right now in Rise is already quite good but man.. capcom really hate putting more choice and option into their next game. Every gimmick they brought up but never return in the next series...

I prefer Flying F-Bomb. It gives me alot of time to heal, attack, etc. I also am a Heavy bowgunner so it really is useful for me atleast.

When I first saw this, I thought there was a chance that mixxing classes would gain unique skills, like a skill that requires a Bomber and Support Palico... would be cool and much more customization.

They'll act as a springboard so if the opportunity presents itself, you can launch yourself off your Palico and land a mid-air attack from there. And you're welcome, glad it was helpful!

Your Palico with Ping you when he is ready to throw you into the air, but if you want your Main Palico to do the throwing, I think you need the Throwing Taunt from 4 Launching Palicos cause I had moments where he would ready throws miles away from the monster.

I take along a healing cat and make my main cat a fighter for the damage buff and boomerang, I also take another healer so my main gets a normal health horn as well, works out great for me or for my ranged character taking a defense palico and making your main a bomber.

Question, about the palico skills that you see on tab2, I saw some that has them full and some with barely anything on it, is their a way for the none full palico skills to gain more? ex. Palico Skills and Purpose. Felvine Bomb - Quest ranged Strike - Meonster H.

As for team attacks I fine the best is the Flying F bomb, just because it does damage and it a super long flash bomb which is great (can do elemental damage or fly straight with team attack+), second I would say is the horn just because it heals and give you stamina/health increases (can also give you elemental buff through Team Attack+) . The tank can do some good damage but I just feel like it is way to slow and misses it shot way to much to be useful, they never hit the monster.

***** Yeah, its is awesome especially when you get the later cooler looking tanks and I mean when they do hit they do massive damage. One time when the tank was actually landing shots it broke every part of the Gravios i was hunting. Just wish it was a little faster is all.

I personally have better luck with Rath-of-Meow then with Flying F-Bomb. The bomb always seems to miss, while my cats seem to be godlike snipers with the Meowzer tank.

Those cats are amazing once they saved me from Gore Magala by breaking the feelers with the tank and other time they made a Rathalos that pinned me flee by using a dung bomb

I enjoy a full team of healers, I find it a bigger benefit since my cats do fine with distraction and I deal damage so it evens out in a sense. However, I fee like I want to try the other ones for a bit now.

There is still one thing I don't get, though it has to do with multiplayer. If your playing as one of a pair, and your Ace both have different specials such as one has Flying F-Bomb and the other Rath-of-Meow, how does it decide which they will use, since they can still use them when playing with friends?

At around 4:35: How are you not using the Ultimate charge blast without draining your boost mode? Is there a way to avoid using the Ultimate in boost mode to retain the boost on the 3rd attack with the A button?

why when he does the ultra burst doesnt lose the shield buff??? wtf

That's because I didn't do the ultra burst ;) If you pull back and press X when you initiate the ultra burst you can cancel it into a super burst, which only uses 1 phial. Does less damage than an ultra, but means you don't waste the lot. I only really use ultra when the monster is trapped or sleeping, otherwise I always super cancel.

Personally, I use large monster helmets. There's is nothing more annoying than waiting for heals / buffs / attacks from your palico when they're too busy smacking around a konchu

When the Hunter is charging the full burst (the moment you push R if you want to charge the shield) you push the joystick back and press X. It will do à normal finisher instead of the super-uber-finisher.
