You seemed to stress the "no time limit" part, but i think you should add (unless i just missed it in the vid) that the monsters can and will flee the Everwood, literally leaving the expedition and not just moving to a different part of the map.

Sagenerd none, you have to know when the monster is limping and immediately run to the escape hole or just simply throw paintballs at them and hope for the best

@@sagenerd419 despite of that however, these monsters has surprisingly low HP pool (the game apparently treats Expedition as Hunt-a-Thon quest) and assuming you have decent gears, you usually have more than enough time to kill one before they even have a chance to leave the Expedition

I once got SUPER lucky on an expedition and got 4 Battered Weapons and 2 Battered Armor from a single treasure area! 3 of the 4 weapons were greatswords (I forget the other). Of those 3 greatswords, 1 was terrible (barely any sharpness above red) the next was alright (yellow sharpness and blast blight), and the third was amazing (loads of green sharpness and Awakened Ice element)

I've gone on two expeditions. The first was the one you have to do to progress. It wasn't too exciting. The second had a velociraptor-y-blue-Jaggi-like-thing and a Kecha Wacha in the same area. I got KO'd a few times but was able to kill and have the Kecha Wacha registered while the blue raptory thing left the area and eventually ran away.

I have a question in my guild quests, I can only either get a Velocidrome or a Yian Kut-Ku, how do I get other monsters to show up?

Kill monsters in quests and then they will be added to your expedtition

I would suggest running thru the "expedition" to the "old man" first avoiding the monsters just so he can't STEAL/TRADE rare relic armor/weapons or items(abrasive, rusted fragments) away from you that might want to keep

The interface always offers you a choice about whether to trade with the Veggy Elder, although the default choice is "Yes" so you might miss it.

Is guild quest harder than village quest? I always died in guild and I skip village quest because guild quest has more item drop.

any idea how to get more rust remover abrasive cause i found a rusted change axe with fire damage that's tier 3 from an expidition and kinda want to find what it is but no luck finding any lower junk to trade in for it, really want use it against krezu to farm him couple times and the spider due to having had time getting the spider claws.

You can occasionally get them from mining in expeditions or in guild quests. Treasure rooms also often contain abrasives. Moreover, Guild Quests have a good tendency to provide abrasive among the rewards. So if you really need abrasives, go get a guild quest or two, go gather some other hunters to join you and do some guild quests.

Can someone give me some insight on weapon damages? Lets say theres two weapons. Weapon A: 900 raw damage. Weapon B: 900 raw damage plus 200 fire damage. Will weapon B always be the stronger of the two regardless? Like what if you're fighting a gravios. Fire is weak against a gravios but would weapon B still be worth choosing over Weapon A?

Yes, Weapon B will be stronger than A, if they were the exact same damage. Now, If you don't have anything broken on Gravios, the Fire Damage will be 0, but as soon as a part break, it can do fire damage, even if it'll be VERY weak to use. At that point, I would compare the sharpness of both weapons.

It really depends on what you're going for - I personally favour Impact phials, and I know a lot of other players do too. It's really useful being able to reliably KO a monster, which then gives you a nice opening to dish out the damage. Elemental phials are still viable, and good if paired up with a monsters weakness, but the elemental burst is a tad delayed so it's easier to miss with the whole thing. If I had to choose, I'd lean slightly more in favour of Impact, plus, if you have artillery skills, Impact phials get a boost ;)

You won't find elder dragons on expeditions but you can get Guild Quests of them from killing certain monsters in the G rank Everwood Forest.

Asad Ali I double checked in forums, you are right. Starting at hr3 you can get Kirin in low rank, starting at hr6 in high rank, and G3 in g rank.
