Monster Hunter Freedom [31] - The Rage of Yian Garuga

The one with the combos, cool theme and hard shells to pierce, Yian Garuga is a sight to behold and a force to be reckoned with.
Also the only real "new monster" in this whole game. And even that is just a result of Kut-Ku and Rathian having no safe sex. HIHHIH-
Anyway, this quest is always available for you to play through once you unlock it. You've got 20 minutes to repel it (win if done enough damage by that time) or kill it. The latter usually happens after a quest or two as it's damage carries over to the next battle.

FOREAL man everyone is complaining that Yian Garuga shouldn't be able to Clap Deviljho in the face, but they didn't know that in Its Debut Yian Garuga was the Rajang of its time, AND its final mission was unlocked AFTER Fatalis in the guild eight star quests! Garuga absolutely deserves to be able to clap Deviljho.

Tommy Vang in lore yian garuga is avoided by most monsters due to its war like nature and its poison. Here and there it would look for apexs just to fight and nothing more.

All you had to do was look it up, and literally see that garuga was elder dragon tier, couldnt be captured, and he had unique repel mechanics only shared by elder dragons, and had his final mission unlocked after Fatalis as the post game boss...your "lore" doesnt mean jack squat because you made it up. Edit: holy shit lol, Garuga leak is out, and he is in MR 6 with the Elder dragons, kekekeke suck it.

Tommy Vang no I know yian garuga was considered elder dragon level back in freedom unite. I was saying lore wise they would seek out apex monsters just for the fun of it. If I’m not mistaken he’s on the same level of rathalos, deviljho, zinogre, legiana, and other high tier monsters in terms of danger.

I can easily kill Rathalos *but* this guy is tough little bastard. It heals while flying. I did a lot of damage to it and its Rage Mode happens about three times but still fail.

Sutra Kevin you can take a bit of its health then hide in the car garden until the last minute and you get an automatic win. I had killed this thing once and then found out about the glitch and just kept doing it to get all the garuga items i wanted.

here's this guy completing the yian garuga with nothing but low level armor and a weapon that barely slices it, while im here with high level armor and a long katana made with mythril that could easily cut through its scales......... but i still cant kill the bastard! How are you able to rotate the camera so well while Circling a large monster on the PSP?

R + analog stick.

All R does is put the camera in the direction your character is facing. you can only rotate the camera by pushing the left and right directional buttons, which is difficult to do while you are moving with the analog nub.

The only way is using the same hand (or both, though risky) to press the D-pad, but there might or might not be a way to configure that. If on the emulator, you can set the D-pad directions to the right analog stick.

Jay Nukem you can get an ad-hoc to play it online, and then find someone online who lives anywhere and you could still play together and use some voice chat program like skype or discord

I don't know how to do that. As far as I know, ad-hoc just means connecting wirelessly with other systems in a close range vicinity. It's the same as saying local wireless.

@@Infernalicon the sword and shield made with ice crystals was extremely powerful to kill it too. specially with that mix set for sharpness +1 and divine protection ( yeah you can get sharpness +1 in freedom 1, there was already artisan) with that the fully upgraded sword gets good blue sharpness and it destroys it
