1) please press the R bumper to use the aiming feature, the ballista shots if paired with arti expert and Felyne bombardier do heavy damage, accelerating the fight 2) When Lao collapses for a few seconds at the first barricade, you’ve done sufficient damage to move him to area 2, don’t waste any resources past that 3) During the area transition, use the cannonballs next to the supply chest to stock the area 2 cannon completely, allows you to conserve even more shots( I think each cannon volley is roughly 800 damage) 4) HIT HIS STOMACHE His back is the technical weak spot, but right between the hind legs is where your gonna wanna thwack Lao if your not operating Ballistas or the Cannon 5) Already shown in the video, but the cannon is always within range of Lao at the bridge. Keep it there till all cannon shots for each person are expended, then move it to the dragonator 6) To jump onto Laos back, position yourself roughly halfway across the bridge, or the midpoint of the cannon if it’s there. Hold forward WITHOUT HOLDING sprint. As the first ridge passes under the bridge, press sprint to jump on his back. 7) while in Laos back, set up the anti dragons, then start hitting him. That back is his weakspot, so if one member stays on his back for as long as possible, it rapidly accelerates phase 2 Sorry for the long comment, these are simple things to incorporate into the Lao urgent to make it go by more smoothly and enjoyably for all involved

I honestly wished they added more Fortress monsters like Shen Goaren. Maybe the game could be like mh dos and have some monsters like Yama Tsukami making an appearance outside of it's normal boss location or maybe even other existing monster. Imagine an option to defend against Amatsu, Gogmazios, Dire Miralis or other bigger monsters.

not many people noticed but zora magdoros has lao shan lung's head n claws if you break all the hanging stuff and head core when he tilts his head back to fire lava bombs you can see the uncanny resemblance it took me hundred of hours on him before i noticed this i know they are considered two different species but it makes you think sub species or more likely just reused assets from devs

I went through the G3 Urgent fight about 4 times to get its armor set. It's pretty good - you get Evade Extender, Adrenaline +1, and most importantly, Steady Hand - Mind's Eye and Razor Sharp combined. And with the changes made to Handicraft jewels from the 3DS version, you can get Sharpness +1 with a Handicraft +5 talisman!

The blue state is exclusive for valor style, while you can’t perform the round house slash outside of valor mode to level up your gauge, once you are in valor mode you gauge level will be locked at blue(same damage buff as red I believe), and you get a different spirit combo, including a guard point for countering before the first hit

xXScanvasXx I assume not since the belly does take a high-ish sharpness to pierce. The head is very easy to hit and very weak, so a prime target. I’m not a master but I hope this helps?

Lao was one of 2 original elder dragons from MH1 on ps2 so your correct term is PS2 Times. One of the freedoms was a updated port of mh1, one was a port of mh2? i believe and the other was standalone more or less.
