Ironically with Deviljho that's sort of fine (it's theme is already orchestral cause it's meant to invoke jurassic park and other Hollywood monster movies), but I imagine it's not nearly as distinct when actually playing world since nearly all of the tracks sound like that to some extent

Teostra and Kushala are actually my prime examples for monsters that are polar opposites but were made to sound more similar in world. If you listen to their themes from the old games back to back it's like night and day (as it should be), but in world they added a lot of parts that feel very similar between both themes

I remember...The first time i saw a Deviljho... MH4U was my first MH game...I beginned with a Charge Blade...I was doing the story quests one by one and after a few ones i decided that they where to easy. So i've decided to go on online quests. Even with my great jaggi set, the first ones where not to difficult but one day, i was hunting a Tetsucabra. I made him flee but, as i was sharpening my blade, i had lost him. I searched for him everywhere but did not found him, suddenly, i heard a noise comming from behind me. I thought this was the Tetsucabra coming out of the ground so i turned...But then...I Saw him...This dinosaire like giant muscular pickle...I did not made a single move, as i was genuinely terrified. This was only when the music started that i had realised...I had no chance...I ran away from him but he was running toward me and with one bite, he killed me... I had decided to give up the quest but...I will never forgive this horrible encounter...

My first encounter with the Demon Pickle was in 4U, Frozen Seaway. I was either hunting a Tigrex or a Zamtrios when it came out. I didn't know what the *fuck* it was, it looked genuinely alien to me, I didn't know shit! I was fighting two fuckers and they tandem killed me. I still don't remember exactly what it looked like but I distinctly remember thinking that was some weird shit, then I eventually realized it was a Jho and dung bombed the fucker whenever he invaded. Scared the living shit out of me, I thought my game was glitching xD

I'm in High Rank and have yet to hear this theme. I guess I'm just really lucky not to hear this while facing Yian Garuga Update: FINALLY GOT HIM IN THE "NARGACUGA THROWDOWN" QUEST! But, I had godlike luck with Narga and he generally stayed away from Jho. I only saw Jho four times: First time when he waltzed into my duel with Narga, specifically in Area 5 of Jurassic Frontier, all, "YoU nEeD sOmE hElP mY gUy?" The second time, I found him on my way to get supplies, this time in Area 2. Found him there again on my way back to Narga, this time paintballing Jho so I could track him, and a final time in Area 7 and Area 8 when I was chasing Nargacuga down to Area 9 from Area 5. Luckily, Narga stayed in Areas 9, 10, and 11 for most of the quest, which Jho had no access to, so I avoided the pickle domination, for now.

I think legitimately this is the only, the ONLY, out of the so many remastered music in World and Rise that I genuinely like this original version better. This one does exactly what it needs to do, sound like a horror theme whenever Deviljho comes up. The simple attack notes on the orchestra sound like the steps Deviljho makes when he approaches you, and it is the same throughout the song. I like the newer ones, I don't hate any of them. But this one is the only one I prefer, because Deviljho is not supposed to be this cinematic villain, it’s this classical horror T-Rex that happens to look like a pickle.
