I really don’t like how shagru was introduced in MHGU mainly because he is quite a popular monster in the monster hunter series and has an exhilarating battle in MH4 as if you were eternal rivals and I think that when shagru was first introduced it had a do or die feeling to it. This by far is one of my favorite monsters and I really do hope that I get to see shagru Magala in world with all of his greatness and I hope I get to fight this monster again sometime in the near future.

I've had my fill of fighting G-rank Shagaru magala with my rarity 4 insect glaive I think I'll sit this game out however it's nice to see the best monster in the series make a return

I never made it to G-rank in 4U (and now my 3DS is broken so I'll never make it 😥), but wanting to fight my first Elder at his strongest is actually what convinced me to pick up GU.

Yes it is the same developers. Capcom have never handed the reigns to anyone with Monster Hunter. As for player population most of the older games have around 2 to 3 million players I think

Yes it has. And no the devs are a different yet similar team. I highly recomend it if you are thinking of buying it. I mean just look at Shagaru. A great example of how awesome and strong old world monsters can be. It will give you a harder experience than World, even counting with Extreme Behemoth, bcuz Bloodbath Diablos exists.

i just killed a hr7 shagaru magala with a hr5 upgraded armor means i didnt upgrade it even once after hr5. weapon was lvl 5 obsidian saber. and no decorations. HOLY SHIIIIT

because it is a matured version of gore magala. gore magala will shed it's black scales into golden ones. it's ok, the color of it will grow on you

There's a huge problem... It's not Just Gore / Shagaru. - Frenzy ailment - Frenzy Monsters - Apex Monsters MH4 has the main story focus on this, MHW and Iceborne has their own story, it's more easy yo introduce monsters like Alatreon or Rajang, it doesn't need too much development to explain their presence in the New World (Sorry for the bad english, i speak spanish.)

@@siei3i37 Got 1000 hours in this game now and he is not really a problem anymore, I just shoot his hindlegs with lbg or hbg pierce 1. Still don't like this monster though.
