Charge Blade Main here :D I actually don't think CB is that difficult. The barrier to entry might be a bit higher than for some, but personally I found Swaxe to be harder (tbf tho at the time of learning SA I already had like 300 hours on CB). So please, give Charge Blade a chance, it's a really fun weapon.

Amateur Cb mains think complexity=ability. True CB mains realize that the weapon is just fighting with FF-style action meters on your kit. The skill floor is a bit higher than some, but it doesn't mean that you are better than others; it just means your brain is a flowchart. This comes from a CB main whose last weapon to get a handle on was longsword.

@@jasonkeith2832 never played Final Fantasy, so can't comment on that. But for me it was just watching the Arekkz tutorial for World and trying it. Was the second weapon I've ever learned, after Longsword, because me and a buddy wanted to play Iceborne together and played base game seperatly - both on LS. But we were like "Aye...let's both do it with different weapons.", so he became a Hammer main and I took up the mighty Charge Blade. Basically, CB is what made me entirley fall in love with MHW. Nowadays I like playing most of the weapons including: SnS, LS, GS, Lance, SwAxe and sometimes bow. But I always gravitate back to the CB.
