Regarding healing, you get 5 free potions every day, that caps out at 10. You don't have to refill said 10 potions immediately so you can have an effective buffer of 15 free potions.

The in game FAQs have the full weapon controls as well as the exact HR you unlock them great sword is part of the main story it says 1-2 so probably around hr13 the rest are HR 15 The SnS charge combo has 2 methods the one you mentioned (hold>block heavy attack>tap) and directly from guarding (hold>down swipe>tap)

Yeah I realised I misread that once you hit hr11 you unlock the "main quest" I have to assume 1-2 is the second part of chapter 1 of the main quest or about hr12-14

IIRC, the point about GS is actually a bit off. It's been a minute but in chapter 2, I think its Chapter 2 part 2 specifically, you are given a quest to kill things with a GS. So, you should get GS End of Chapter 1/ Early Chapter 2. But the info about the other weapons is correct.

Me and my friends found out the unlock requirements are not based on chapter progression but HR progression, so at HR 11 for GS, and HR15 for Bow, Hammer, LBG and LS.

Actually we know the cycle of respawns, as told by Hunter's Notes, things respawn/reset every 3 hours. I believe its 2/5/8/11 o'clocl local time, but that might be server time and I havent dont enough personal testing to say for sure! Also, with healing, you heal at a rate of 1 hp every 35 seconds or so, meaning it takes about an hour to go from 0 to full. This means you can realistically, with enough skill, hunt all teh local monsters and heal back to full from any damage you took while doing so, WITHOUT ever needing to pop a healing item. As far as paying for healing goes, I'd say its the best system we could have gotten outside of no system whatsoever. But I also understand no need for healing(or insta healing after every hunt) encourages a mad rush playstyle that isny very monster hunter.

Mixed sets are most definitely the way to go, defense doesn’t really matter right now since monsters are pretty easy so going for armors with good offensive perks, you can even go for armors with defensive perks if you are not confident with higher star quest

I find when my hunter runs up to a monster sometimes... it will roll backwards throughout the whole fight pretty much. I do get a few hits in at times but again the rolling backwards starts.

Best Tips i can give you: 1> Upgrade only 2 element weapons or 1 affinity/higher raw-Barroth wep (depends on weapon type). 2> Dont spend your Sharp Claws / Wingdrake Hides (small monsters drop) on stupid items! You will need them a LOT! Weapoon grade 5 - 2. level, 32 Claws. Try low level weapons on 1★ monsters.

MH is my favourite game series since MH1 on ps2, also im playing pokemon go since 2016 - you could think MHnow is perfect game for me, but... im not sure yet. i just played it for about hour and its better than i thougt, but my expectations was very very low, i think MH mixed with pokemon go is strange idea, and not very intuitive. MH can have very hard and long battles and here we have 10-20 second battles (maybe little more on later stages), im not convinced yet. still its quite nice, graphic and animation are nice, combat is much simplified but have some feeling of MH combat. there will be probably quite a lot of gear to craft etc. i will try it for few days, but now - im not sold

Yea the online store rubs me kinda the wrong way but I guess its was sadly inevitable as soon as we saw niantic was making it, other than that I am kinda liking this game so far and the combat is surprisingly decent and also fairly simple, the game pretty much handles all the moving and ur job us to just dodge and attack. My only complaint so far would be that you need to get to chapter 2 to unlock weapon types which is kinda stupid.

3:15 ive noticed the better you are the longer u can go for hunts. but if you make careless mistakes or keep trying to take unnecessary risk you hurt yourself in the long run because u may drop to below 30% and have to halt ur hunting unless u use potions.

That's basically how it feels right now. Once you're out of potions you have to sit around with your thumb up your ass until you're healed or shell out money for gems. So far, not really impressed with it...

the only downgrade here is the GPS loc. As a hunter I want to explore area and hunt freely not relying on GPS which is slow to move
