Monster Hunter Rise - Heavy Bowgun Build - Sticky Go Boom

This latest entry in the action-RPG series finds players battling fearsome monsters and reaching new heights. Prepare to be transported to the colorful Kamura Village, a new serene mountain locale where players will experience unique culture and innovative hunting technologies. Using a special insect called a Wirebug, hunters will be able to grapple themselves in any direction, making it possible to scale towering cliffs and structures. All combat areas within each quest are seamlessly connected, allowing for exploration of the vast and vertical landscapes with no loading times. MONSTER HUNTER RISE launches for Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021.
Additionally, a Deluxe Edition will also be available, which offers the full game and bonus DLC. Pre-ordering the base or Deluxe version will unlock bonus in-game items like layered armor and more. Players will be able to get even more in-game extras with Monster Hunter amiibo accessories.

Quick update to this. Slot in 1 more reload speed and take the Cluster Rampage skill instead. This puts your sticky 3 into fast reload and you can fire off all clusters without reloading.

noticed that sometimes there are different things for male/female took me a bit to realize that the female version of the utsushi is the channeler set

the utsushi mask comes with 1 point of wirebug whisperer so you don't need the deco

I like the meter cannon for sticky 3. Low recoil and fast reload with 4 rounds and a level 2 plus 2 level 1 gem slots.

How do you feel about the limited mobility and slow reload speed for monsters much much more aggressive and faster than a basarios? It's just really hard to peel off Sticky 3 LBG right now since the stun potential is so bonkers and I feel like there aren't many decent Sticky 3 HBG at the moment unfortunately

Meteror canon has a clip of 3 stickys 3 so spare shot triggers often, with slugger 3 you can keep the Monster KO almost all the fight and blast it with wynver ammo. Evade extender makes a huge difference in the mobility I'm 2 minutes faster with sticky HBG than LBG

@@danielmjiou yea i tried it out and I really enjoy it, but my only question is what do you use when the monster is KOd? on my magna lbg I can ko and then use spread. and it seems with Meteor cannon the wyvern ammo doesnt do too much damage. havent played around with hbg much in rise yet until now

@@imadeamistak4905 What I do is pepper the monster with stickies and then once immediately switch to Clusters. I Fire Cluster 1, then swap to Cluster 2 immediately after I fire UNLESS I get a Spare Shot trigger, then reload. If the monster is still down, I swap back to stickies and try to get a few in its face just before it gets up so I can build more KO when it gets up. Gun takes practice. If you're close enough, Charge up a Wyvern shot when If goes down to do some good damage.

Don't forget to eat for Dango bombardier cuz it also boosts the damage of your stickies

It's currently bugged for Bowguns at the moment. Doesn't increase attack values. Still works fine on Gunlance, oddly enough.

Slugger 3 is also really good on this build if you're OK with switching it up a bit and dropping Wirebug.

Got a Slugger 3 Stamina Thief 2 Lvl 2 slot, can only vouch for this advice, only need one Sticky 3 ammo to stun the Dummy

Because 4 shot capacity vs. 2 shot capacity and fast vs slow reload.

For my one am using the utushi/channeler head, rhenoplos mail, anja arms and coil, hunter greaves and a talisman with spare shot 1 with two level 1 slot, giving me attack boost 6, spare shot 3, slugger 3, artillery 3, reload 3, recoil 3 and 1 steadiness. I believe the cluster ramp up would be better than sticky since you can already do sticky 3 but cluster rampage allows for cluster 3 bomb.

Have you try to squeeze in focus? Focus + charge counter is very good. You can charge up your shot so fast it look funny

Counter attack is great damage and wyzern but most monsters attack right after. Counter charge shot is great as overall damage over time so

The order is based on how you have it in your item pouch. So don't auto-sort.
