@@reallycantthinkofausername487 The nice thing about the anomaly grind is that it contains virtually zero unique content and doesn't even grant access to the hardest fight in the game (which is Primordial Malzeno, imo). You can do as much or as little as you want and not really miss out on anything. Not to mention that all anomaly materials are useful to everyone in at least some way, whether for direct upgrades or just extra points. It's a genuinely fantastic system that I would like to see carried forward in some way.

Besides, in World, Fatalis/AT Velk was technically the final update, and even that game threw in an extra unexpected update with the Monster Hunter movie quest. Sooo, it's not that crazy to think there could be more, or (if just you use your imagination) any other possible announcements outside the scope of "added content."

I hope other weapons of the new MH have more technical roles to play in a party like Hammer does stuns, Hunting Horn adds buffs and DPS, Range can get the drop on the aerials, the others are for part-breaking and cutting but hopefully they can have a significant impact in the battle and not just loot or dps focused-- like imagine if they can actually cut a leg or wing? and hopefully more aggro based gameplay on Tank builds like the Lances and Bowguns

I had a crazy monster hunter game idea Monster Hunter Ancients The story and theme is about the ancient civilization which is technology advanced (NOT syfi advanced) and you play as ahunter looking for power. The game would be taking a darker turn to explain the fall of the civilization because of power and greed Your hunter’s gamplay will be affecting the story of the game too by what i mean is you have two paths in the story (slightly inspired by wild hearts). One path is the way of the hunter which you make choices to benefit the monster ecology and balance (this would reward you with unique weapon trees and some unique returning weapon types). The other path is the enslave path where your choice are mostly about power and domination (this gives you unique enslaved elder dragon monsters) The unique mechanics of the game would be monster enslavement (morbid I know but this is what the ancient civilization did). You get enslave monsters by capturing them. You can power them up by feeding them various foods that give these categories: cooldown reduction, damage, and fill meter. The hunter gains the ability to summon the enslaved monsters in the hunt by hitting the monster enough times to fill the meter then call in your monster. You then have two options. one you summon in your monster to do a massive finisher attack that does big damage and garentees a knock down then leaves. The other option is your monster stays in the local and helps fight the monster for a little bit then runs to a different zone (if you play it smart you can have the monster your hunting go to the zone your enslaved monster is in). Since this is the ancient civilization they have the magnet spike, tonfas, and accel axe in the game as well as the other ones. The ending of the game depends on the path you choose but one thing is certain...Fatalis destroys the whole civilization and how the game keeps going on after the ending is the civilization activates a time divice that rewounds time you then can play any story mission you beaten and choose the other path so you can get all the rewards from the story quests So the fatalis mission I wanted it to be unique to other missions instead of hunting the fatalis you defend the city while everyone leaves. This quest is certain dearth meaning you literally just survive keep hitting fatalis to get more materials and every 10 min you get a unique ticket for powerful weapons and armor. Enslaved monsters can’t be summoned either. Oh you also have a damage window and if you fail it (the damage threshold gets bigger and bigger) fatalis burns everything and you die with your one faint (in multiplayer everyone just has one life so it just gives that impending doom feel they can spectate or just leave. Multiplayer would be a little tricky for the enslave mechanic so in multiplayer you just have the monster do a big attack then leave HOWEVER if you and another player have the same enslaved monster type they will preform a unique attack and if its like rathalos and rathian they do an even stronger attack. Well in conclusion this is my random idea I just came up with and wanted to share with the world.

I wish risen dragons MR requirement doesnt jump very high from Chameleos (110) and Daora (120) to Teostra (130 inst of 140), Valstrax (140 inst of 160), and S. Magala (150 inst of 180). Im grinding to Risen Teostra, my play hour already reached 150 hours, and im just regular salary men 😂

It's interesting that MH overwhelmingly is held to these high standards of needing to have unique enemy models at every corner, but meanwhile gamers seem to have a blind eye to like idk... almost every other game that also re-utilizes enemy assets. Borderlands can get away with having like 10 different versions of the Midget psycho enemy (using the same model for each one), or Streetfighter can bring back the same fighter with new clothes and extra moves, but MH better not dare try that with their game lol. And funny thing is that I bet Capcom puts even most more work into their "recycled" enemies than most devs do.
