For Pale Extracts, you can also check the Argosy after every hunt. Rondine has 10 Pale Extracts in "Rare Finds" every once in a while, and I grab those up when I see them.

Can't help but feel like I should add this in. Rather than failing arena quests, it's just as fast doing the 1 star village gathering quest where you pick up those lantern things. Just put on a gathering set and make a fast routine. It takes just as long as the arena failings, plus you can also get the rewards which could add in honey and bitterbugs which can help free up some room in your submarine. Its at least better than not getting anything in return from failing the quests. I don't mean to offend you or anything but I find this quest filler easier and more profitable.

The quick quest is done in between 30 - 40 seconds most of the time and failing the Rajang + the added weapon selection screen before are only a bit quicker. The added benefit of getting addtional kamura tickets and not having a big "failed" stamp in my face every minute seems worth it to me ;-)

Don't forget! After every quest that isn't abandoned check the special items at the Argosy and buy the rare ore that's for selling. Takes little points for lots of Zenny!

I would recommend doing all the quests for cosmetics and the unlocks for dangos/switch skills. Since those are still relevant in sunbreak. Power is really irrelevant since any MR/G-rank armor/weapon will be an instant upgrade. Early MR monsters are still easier then HR endgame monsters.

Ok, almost everything here is "technically" right, but ALL of these can be done in a much more efficient way. 1 - For pale extracts, just buy them from Rondine (Argosy - you'll need Kamura points for that - check #6 ) 2- To quick level, there is a faster way to cycle quests by doing the "roly poly lanterns" or something. If you get a farming gear set (botanist and evade extender in this case) it can be finished under 20 seconds 90% of the time - and you also get some Kamura points. 3- Again, refer to #6 4- This event Valstrax just hits much harder than the regular, story mode one, has more HP and doesn't drop more loot. No reason to do it. 5- If you seriously just play the game, trying out different weapons and keeping the sidequests as a secondary objective, you should get enough armor spheres to be swimming in them. That being said, if you NEED to farm them, just go after rock lizards and hit them 3 times - don't auto kick them, that just nets you one reward - rinse and repeat. 6- For Kamura point farming (AND zenny) you can get MANY more if you follow Gaijin Hunter's route (on his YT channel). You don't get 10k like in this example, but anywhere from 35 to 50 k (my record being 51 before the locale info was updated). Now to get zenny just check out the rotation on sellable loot - the rocks whose only functions are to be sold - at Rondine (Argosy) and you should be swimming in zenny as well.

I can agree with almost every single one of your points, but Arena is by far the fastest method for cycling through quests. Just pick the gunner set and you will die in 2 hits. Roly Poly Lanterns can't compete with that in terms of speed.

@@TheLuggi84 Technically true, but failing arena quests can't compete with Roly-Poly Lanterns for Kamura Ticket accrual, and Roly-Poly Lanterns also nets free zenny, Kamura points, and subquest completion. It also needs to be noted that, while it is more RNG-swingy, mining runs in the Flooded Forest are on about the same level as the caverns. Also, on the subject of zenny, if you still feel poor after doing all of the events (which load you with mineral eggs) and farming parts, running the Sonic event is a fast way to get some zenny when you're tired of farming ores.

I also send my mewocenaries to any Khezu targets. They usually bring back quite a few pale extracts (especially if there are 2 Khezu's) as well as buying the 5 Rondine can sometimes sell.

There are also a few equipment skills that can help increase your capture and target rewards like Pale Extract. I believe they are Capture Master, and Good Luck. I think there's also a Dango you can eat for extra rewards. Every little bit helps!

The buddy leveling method is a good idea but the quick quest has better output than failing Rajang Arena. I've recently switched out my main buddies for different ones with better skills and they have yet to reach max Level for sunbreak EDIT: depending on playstyle and buddy skills the valstrax buddy sword isn't super useful as opposed to the armor. For example: I opted for knock out king and status up on my palamute and equipped the blunt Bazel weapon on it. The damage they deal is negligible anyway so why not go for some extra blast and k.o. potential for extra utility

5 things I do to prepare for Sunbreak: #1- Farm Zenny from Mining Outcrops, Novacrystals from the Flooded Forest sells for a lot. #2- Farm Kamura points to buy Pale Extracts and Meat from Rondine for Dango Tickets. #3- Max level 2 Gathering Palicos and craft 3 Good Luck jewels for extra materials early on. #4- Max your weapons and fully upgrade the Valstrax Set. #5- Stockpile useful items like Potions, Drugs, Dash Juice, Lifepowder, ect.

Valstrax weapons on buddies are not really as super as they seem. Their attacks' motion values are really low, so element and status are supreme, but if your target takes little or no dragon damage (like, say, Valstrax), you're much better off with blast via the bazel weapon, and sleep from the Cataclysm Knell is a fine substitute.

i imagine any type of material gathering like the armorspheres and ores will be mostly unnescessary, there's alway master rank mats that come along with master rank gear. you could sell them sure but if you wanna grind up your cash better to hunt something that you dont need parts for now and sell all the rewards

The weapons and armor they will give us at the start of Sunbreak, like they do all expansions, should be better than anything we can currently equip, or at least that's the way it worked in World, so wouldn't grinding for Valstrax gear be a little unnecessary?

It may sound redundant at first but if Valstrax armor is the best we can get now then it'll make farming for some better armor in sunbreak a bit easier.

The Valstrax grind he's talking about it to beef up your buddy's defences just so your early hunts in Master/G-Rank go easier and they don't get pancaked uselessly.

The Dango Ticket technique displayed in this video is highly inefficient for your point count, as you pay extra for both purchasing and motley mixing the meat. Instead, have your buddies get Scatterfish from the Argosy. Paired with the failure technique in the arena, Scatterfish can be collected left and right without extra fees and extremely quick. Motley mix these instead, unless you are in dire need of well done steaks. Exciteshrooms are also great for cooking if you are not trying to make farcaster stashes and have easy access to them (namely through farming HR boosting quests such as the Allmother or Born of Paradise). Without effort, or even boosting quests, these methods will eventually rack up thousands of tickets.

P.S. for Rise players who have never experienced the bleed effect: Do not cook Sushi Fish. While Well Done steaks would have the same effect of curing bleed, it’s best to not waste these fish. Motley mix raw meat when you have the points to spare, if you are desperate for a stockpile of well done steaks. The Smallest Snowbaron quest can also give raw meats easily, just bring a collecting palico (or two).

Or do what I do & every hunt I'm on, grab a few blue shrooms or excite shrooms then everytime I go dango nomming, motley mix the shrooms collected. that way you always have Dango Tickets...the Sonic Rings quest is great for this & nets a gold egg on S+ rank!

@@rockdog234 That is an option, sure, but you might want to save some excite shrooms for farcasters in master rank. Sure they're pretty useless unless you're in mid combat, but it's a good idea to keep them on hand.

For money, the flooded forest is actually better. I can make like 100K+ easy. Gaijin Hunter has an updated zenny farm for this. He also points out that if you "complete quest" before the 5 minute mark, the expedition will not have updated the mining surge, so you can hop back in and do it all over again.

G rank has always made high rank gear obsolete. And is always better than the base game. Especially in world's case because I'm gonna say it base world sucks. All I cared about was the Rotten Vale because God damn that theme is a banger. Best things world did was making whetstone, mining, and bug catching infinite rather than bringing a limit of bug nets, whetstones, and pickaxes. Very good quality of life change.

@@Elephant-Fresh I am thinking about the same thing, but here is why I decided no. monster hunter world iceborn peak concurrent for the past month:54k. rise on PC: 12k peak. Estimated switch sales 7.5 million. Estimated PC sales 500k. On top of that, I kind of prefer world to rise anyways but both are amazing games I have over 400 hours each into. My issue with rise is the map design and interactivity took a huge step backwards. I am thankful that we are finally getting falling rocks in sunbreak, but in world it felt like the whole environment was your weapon once you learned the maps.
