You can get the toz through a side quest given by the tech in beginning area. You’ll eventually encounter some not nice people through the quest holding them

I have 1 complaint, the day/night cycle is way too fast for me. I just start vibing on the night and the sun comes up, then I start really enjoying the sights and the sun goes down. WAY too fast. For me.

Great tips, I learned a lot👍 Xbox review; I’m fortunate enough to have a very fancy TV with VRR and after tuning the HDR a bit I’ve played just over 5 hours on XSX in performance mode and it’s been creamy smooth with zero stutters. One dude claims that it fluctuates between 50 and 60fps on Series X but if so then VRR is totally hiding that from me. Very smooth. 2 bugs so far were sound dropping out once when talking to Warlock and every time I pressed X to talk to this one dude who was doing pushups he hopped up… and then dropped straight back down to continue pushups. I love SOC and Pripyat and this is just what I hoped for. Just watched your video at 2160p, 60hz I can’t tell any difference in graphics setting or quality but I know Digital Foundry will be able to zoom in side-by-side and show me heaps of PC improvements but on KZbin with its compression watching you PC guys my eyes can’t tell any differences at all even pausing and looking right up close. So I’m sure playing on a hot PC in person would blow my mind but it’s still really good on XSX. So far it always looks great and looks absolutely stunning at times. I get some guys are getting lots of bugs so I understand their complaints but I’m in heaven. Normal difficulty is proving to be hard enough for me for my 1st run and with no reticle I feel like I’m totally in The Zone😎🤓

Still one of the best games I have played. Is it perfect? Not at all, realistically no game is perfect but is it what we needed? Fuck yeah. There's a reason the entire S.T.A.L.K.E.R series is held on such a pedestal and it's because of the depth of the systems, just hidden mechanics waiting for you to find them in the dead of the night. Bravo GSC, bravo. I look forward to the progression of this beast and wasting my free time away in The Zone.

Haha I had windows ME as well! It actually wasn’t bad, I was like 10 or 11 or something so I don’t remember too well, but I feel like it was a budget edition for sure haha. Even though it came out after 2000. All my friends had 2000 and we had ME, and I feel like I was always getting viruses and stuff and my friends never did (but I was downloading roms and stuff back then and my friends knew nothing about computers) it makes sense in hindsight, I just checked online and it was apparently known for having instability issues 😂. Oh well! It worked lol

Windows ME wasn't budget windows it was just similar to Windows 2000 (but more like windows 9X. 2000 was the business edition). I've used every version of Windows that's came out (including server versions / NT). Windows ME, 2000, vista are the worst.

I wish you could perform fun stealth kills and that the dogs and invisible monster were not bullet sponges.

For players with weak PCs: try Stalker Anomaly. It only looks like a big mod, but it's a game (free). And it has everything Stalker 2 can offer, except for modern graphics.

About the console performance....I'm playing it on my crappy lil series s and the graphics are a lil blurry and just not very crisp, I'm sure series x is clean but the controls on this is very touchy, like simply putting my thumb on the stick will make you zig and zag lol but I'm loving the actual game
