On the cusp of barely punching above 60+ fps on this setup is wild. Capcom must really been banking on 1st impressions not being hindered on this beta performance. Hope they have a more optimized 1.0 in 4 months come release.

I watched Max stream on PC and as his opinion the frame gen in Wilds Beta is pretty good . Max is doing mainly fighting games like SF6 Tekken 8 ...etc so i think he is sensitive with input lag . I also tested the game with a cheap cheap system ( x99 + xeon e3 2967v3 and GTX1070 ) . I set lowest at 1600x900 . FSR 3 native ( cuz this beta give u blackscreen when upscale ) + amd frame gen . i got around 17fps native 1600 x 900 and 45fps with frame gen and managed to killed all 4 monsters in this BETA including Rey Dau 😂

The games is very heavy on the GPU for sure, I see a guy on twitter basically going crazy that he has to use potato settings with a RTX 2060.

I think fundamentally the game will not be able to be optimized as people want. Famous World modder Asterisk Ampersand noted they are constantly encrypting and decrypting the player object (even before Denuvo), and streaming textures from STORAGE instead of loading them into VRAM/RAM- despite the wild Vram usage. It would take a total rewrite, just be prepared to lean on frame generation and upgrade that CPU hunters.

ridiculous performance. for this game, even Ryzen's 3d cache is not effective. I guess the game engine makes an issue.

Damn, This game is Demanding as Shlt Native. Needs Upscaling and/or 5090. I'll say both would give an amazing Experience. lol

Your 4090 is performing quite a better than others in this game and it's also consistently drawing 350~400 watts which is good, in other benchmarks i rarely saw it go above 320 watts... Also this isn't all the demo has to offer😃, I'd love to see one more benchmark before the demo period ends 12 hours from now

This game's graphics/hardware utilisation/optimisation is so ass. Look at your 3Ghz 4090 power draw, running this ass is about at 350 to sub 400W. By contrast, running Horizon/COD your 4090 eats 400 to above 450W power. Oh Running GOWR that 3Ghz 4090 can consume over 500w at times. HAHAHA

I have been noticing this a lot on recent games. It seems like the game is not allowing the GPU to overclock. However, I am not sure that this is really what is going on. I'm not well informed on game developement or GPU architechture.

I really hope the full game is released in a polished state. Apparently, Capcom said the full game will be released in a much better state. I really hope that's true. I will remain sceptical for now. The game has no RT as well. This beta version is outdated and bugged according to Capcom.

I am using my LG C3 evo, and my tv settings don't influence my videos. Basically, even If I put all my settings to black and white on my oled, this video would look the same.

Your rig is running 5-10 fps better than the other 4090 beta testers. DLAA is too much for a not oc 4090 rig in this game.

Just played this on 4K with HDR and DLAA, very underwhelming visually, drab colors, muddy textures, "grainy look" and terrible performance to boot. Characters' models are the only thing i liked.

I upped the saturation to 7, gamma looked more accurate. Both World and Dragons Dogma 2 had terrible HDR tone mapping too

Looks like a PS3 game visually, you'd think we should see at least a few hundred fps on 4090.

Even on one of the most powerful gaming machines it can only achieve about 60fps I reckon the horrible performance is from the DRM this beta uses

I think there is a texture streaming issue in the beta. The highest setting is still showing pixelated textures. Also, this biome so far is nothing but desaturated earth tones further being masked with the haze fog post processing. Hopefully, other biomes will contrast better. I'll either ReShade or adjust things in Nvidia control panel.

Agreed, but I don’t refer to the textures. High fidelity textures don’t matter. I think the colors are super ugly, everything is very blurry/foggy, but weird fog. Everything is mushy and of similar colors for realism purposes. Very bad graphic style compared to MH World

@@Saimiri1334 Did you see it in clear weather, clearly more colorful then MHWorld. World has more intense bloom tho, the color overall is a bit wierd especially if you see some areas in the dark. But by the artstyle both of them are pretty blurry in TAA/DLAA compare to like HZD on the same resolutions, the sharpness setting of DLAA doesn't work too
