My build also uses a RTX 3080, though I'm using an R9-5900 CPU and playing in Ultrawide 1440p. I was going to comment "I'm surprised your performance was so bad!" but realized the difference between you and I -- I played at high settings but used AMD FSR3 and enabled frame generation, instead of using DLSS. There was a nasty ghosting effect that occurred outside of combat (that the MH team tweeted about in November as one of the bugs that had already been fixed in a later build of the game) but otherwise the game ran very well, boosting my 50+ frames past the 60 fps threshold. Hoping that the dev team isn't just gassing themselves up when they've been talking about all the optimizations and requirement pushing they've been doing in the many months since this beta was completed.

Well, the performance was really bad for everyone in this beta, I don't believe the game will run much better on this shite engine even on release!

On my rtx 4070 super with ryzen 9 7900x 4k high dlss Balance and FG 75-85fps Hope the Release Version Runs better

Here's hoping my r5 7600 + 3080 can stay above 60fps consistently at 1440p with the updated dlss transformer model making performance mode as good as cnn quality and whatever optimisation capcom has done since.

After playing the beta, I cancelled my preorder. I am going to wait for benchmark and gameplay on release to see if ill buy the game on launch day. I know underneath this terrible poor optimization is a really pretty game. and I refuse to play this anything less than 1440p 80+ FPS on my 3080 god damnit! This is unacceptable. I don't know what kind of magics trick they will pull off, cuz aint no way they fixing this mess in 4 months. Unless the build we are playing is like 7months to a year old, than its probable close to what we will get in 4months. I hope i am wrong.

Have you messed with any settings that could possibly raise that fps by a good amount without making the game look horrible? Im looking forward to this game more than anything but this performance isn’t playable..
