Do you have to have a Palico companion? Can you chose anything that's not a cat?

Sadly they is just the cat. You don’t have to bring it with you. You can tell it to stay at your base. What’s interesting is that in other more recent monster hunter games you were able to have a different kind of companion and they were actually more popular than the palico. So I would be interested to see if they give you options in this full game.

are you starting to do more live commentary now?

Yeah I am working on trying to combine live commentary, with post commentary. Hoping the live commentary comes off as more natural vs me sometimes sounding too serious and too much like a book report 😂
