Yuya Tokuda and Kaname Fujioka tandem is the reason World was so successful! Yuya's vision since the olden MH days to make it more believable and grounded and as immersive as possible and Kaname's art direction and creative experience is the icing on the cake So amazing that it's the 2 of them again leading Wilds And let's not forgot how dedicated Tsujimoto is as producer since beginning. Hoping for another win for the MH team come 2025

I hope that the follower mechanic from Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak returns in this game. As someone who plays these games single-player, I felt that followers were a great idea that was well-implemented, and the fact that they were NPCs from the hub village really added to the immersion.

I'm not really played that much Monster Hunter. Only played a few hours of MH World, about 2022. See the Wilds trailer, I'm quite excited for Monster Hunter Wilds yeah! My 2024 games are Dragon's Dogma 2, Black Desert, Dark Arisen, Naraka Bladepoint and abit of RE Village. Seems Wilds have that strong DD2 vibes yeah! Are those two Capcom games connected? Desert areas looks like Batahl... Hope we got a demo dropping soon on Steam for us to try it... Anyway Capcom is the best yeah!! You guys really show em Tokyo men can make good games yeah!! Good question, by Lore of Wilds, is our char a dude or that Big B woman?? Hope we are not that dude, I wanna play as a Ada Wong, Ashlee, Jill Valentine type woman yeah!! Dragon's Dogma 2 story is clearly we are playing as Ashlee or Rose Winters or Jill type that goes and fight dragons yeah! Mine's not though, my Arisen is a 30s Japanese woman with 3 other 30s woman, ie the Pawns, all talking like they are Moms yeah! My DD2 main char is something like Jun Kazama yeah! Or maybe Kasumi, i loved her alot...

sooo much about the trailers looked great and and me very happy however 2 things super worry me and thats the mount i hate the instant recover and reminds me of the problems the wirebug had !the other thing is the focus mode it seems like a replacement for tendorize and most people hated this mchanic in world and this seems worse for example if it works like i think as a duel blades user i am likely going to be exposing multiple weak points on the monster constantly then some one else just needs to do focus mode and constaly knock down monsters from the weak spots i create and this will make the game too easy! :__ ( its like they have combined clutch claw wall banging and tendorrizing in a very simple easy to use system :( super worried about this one!

To me as beautiful as Rise's maps were, they also felt more like a playground for the hunter to just swing around in instead of a place where you need survival skills to not get killed in

To be fair, that’s just the portable thing - GU and portable 3rd are the same way, the more grounded ones are the mainline games. Two different teams with different focuses, the portable team is more about action and getting hunters into the fights, where mainline is more ecological and discovery based.

Portable 3rd still had a heavy focus on the environment, just because it looked prettier and more colorful doesn't mean that it was somehow fundamentally different from 2nd gen or 4th gen

@@tofuteh2348 have you played 3? Not portable 3rd. Like actual 3 or 3U? Portable and mainlines are distinctions simply because the style of the games are different - GU and 3rd are much more action focused as an example, where most of your time in something like 2 or 3 is going to be resource collecting. Mainline (as a general rule) is a lot more methodical and prep heavy, portable is much more quality of life driven. Also another reason people separate the two is because it’s literally 2 different teams with 2 different ideas. The portable team worked on freedom, freedom 2/unite, 3rd, generations/generations ultimate, and Rise, whereas the mainline team did 1/G, 2, 3/3U, 4/4U, and world/IB

@@tofuteh2348 for that matter, I’ve been playing portable 3rd recently, and I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt, that game makes ecologically 0 sense. But that’s fine, cause that’s not their goal. The goal of the portable games is not to throw the hunter into an uncaring and unforgiving world, mainline does that. On the other hand, the goal of the mainline games is not to get you straight into the action right away, it’s more prep focused and actually trying to survive as a hunter. Neither style is bad, I love all monster hunter games, but there is a very very clear difference if you actually go back and play those games.

I love the idea of monster packs, imagine you and the homies fighting a pack of Rajang, you each take one, and occasionally while dodging you swap over like those scenes in an action film. The two weapons is an interesting concept, because assumedly you won't swap armors as well, so your skills will not be designed to play both weapons if they are different enough weapons. Especially if you go 1 Blademaster and 1 Gunner weapon. Still, unbelievably hyped, the Focus mode sounds interesting, and I look forward to the crazy flashy attacks other weapons will get with Focus, especially on the more unique weapons like CB and SA.

They really went to a whole new continent, and made an entire new biome and ecology with both flora and fauna. Excited to study and learn a wholelot new wilfelife behavior!

Please.. Please take your time with this game. Do not feel rushed. Just the first trailer alone looks absolutely beautiful. I mean absolutely gorgeous. Your games are unlike anything else made. Thank you for every master piece you have given to us. I can just look at the first trailer and already tell this new game might be the best of them all, maybe even greater than Monster Hunter: World + Iceborne together.
