We’re not getting a demo because of all the resources are going into optimizing and polishing the game. The changes made in the full game aren’t in the beta. The crits have a pink line under them

@@Erick-tv8oq Even if there are updates to be made at launch, Japanese and Korean devs are usually pretty quick to smoot those out, from my experience. Plus, Capcom is putting a lot of resources into this game (money, time, manpower, etc.), so I'm not worried.

One thing I noticed *no one* was talking about is how Normal Ammo on bowguns can now use elemental damage according to the monster you crafted the weapon from. The HBG that's used in the Rompopolo hunt is Uth Duna's, and the normal shots used deal Water element damage!

Rompopolo looks so sick, one of my new faves for sure. I like the type 2 palico voice (or whichever one the more masculine-sounding option is). It makes your palico sound like a teenage shonen protagonist or something lol

Fun fact: all buffs and debuffs show a timer when below 30 seconds. I was experimenting with that during the last beta. As for buffs with more than 30 seconds they show a clock with %time remaining when you hold left trigger/ZL. You can see it on his cool drink when he is switching items.

A few possible reasons - 1. Creating a Demo takes time and needs to be submitted to the console manufacturers as a different product than the beta. They can't just slap DEMO on the beta version and just release that. So BETA #2 might just serve as a demo, for marketing purposes. 2. They have things they need to make sure works with mass players, maybe hoping that they will be able to stress test the servers again, because they might have realized that WAY MORE players than they expected will be connecting on day one 3. They are delaying the full release, and are cozying up to the player base before having to announce they need a bit more time. Less likely, but since the pandemic, we've been having difficulties with scheduling and it makes production a wee bit more difficult than it was (we've either lost key personnel, changed the work output to account for WFH, etc))

Hey Uno, hope all is well… love that we get to play the beta again a few weeks before the game comes out… I’ll be playing on PC since it ran great on my setup… I think through the story I’ll probably play HH and IG this time around and for range weapon I might run HBG… deff was excited with the Ajarakan fight he seems like he doesn’t have many openings and will clap a lot of ppl up… I’m hoping also the info dump of Wilds will kinda remain how it is so far since the game will be out soon and it doesn’t seem like much was spoiled yet!!

Wtf a timer for ailments? What the hell It was fine in world and in rise with the blinking. Next entry for monhun the damn hud is going to be similar to a damn ubisoft game hud. I'm with Ruri on this
