Why are there so much misinformation and just outdated information? It feels like they are just taking information from those first weapon showcase and not using any of the information that was given at the verious events. To anyone who wants more and correct information, the Monster Hunter Community got you. There are many channels here on KZbin dedicated to Monster Hunter and to the verious weapons. I suggest just looking for a dedicated Monster Hunter channel for this type of information.

Why is there so much misinformation in this video, Great sword can't sprint unsheathed, Longsword doesn't have a new parry, Gunlances wyvern fire isn't slower. There's also so much information just not present. We've had multiple demos from multiple events in which creators of respective weapons have had hands on gameplay and shown gameplay talking about the feel and new mechanics. There is a severe lack of research and understating of the game and it's weapons. even Hammer your apparent favourite weapon has nearly no mention of its new weapon flow and combo structure. With the improved spinning bludgeon being able to combo from near enough everything giving new options and flow also while talking about hammers focus strike you failed to mention a new feature of being able to charge your hammer during the attack for a seamless follow ups. They are only examples. there is so much more you fail to mention. Barely any of this information is helpful it feels more like you're talking just to talk for the sake of content. Lastly the structure of this video is awful, you address new moves and gameplay changes while showing random unrelated footage just to show the move you're actually talking about minutes later while on a completely different topic. This is unbelievably confusing giving you're not talking about anything relevant most of the time but also insanely confusing for new players trying to understand what move you are referring to at the time.

He might be talking about the sprint after the counter. He also said "hints about clash mechanic and wake up" at 2:12 like it's exclusive to GS when that's already confirmed for those weapons that can do them.

Sleep long sword and pure raw greatsword for wake ups, unless longsword gets sacred sheath back, then double longswords, one with sleep one for damage.

*Unironic shoutout to Wild Hearts* - solid experience and great if you co-op. Low stakes fun to tide peeps over till MHWilds. I've been having a blast for weeks. The things you build mid-combat are crazy fun and the game in general just feels like a more elegant, less busy less confusing less overwhelming Monster Hunter.

I low-key despise the building mechanic. It's more intrusive then the clutch claw, just let me hunt with a weapon instead of playing fortnite, plus the camera is crazy clunky and gets you killed It's a fine game, but more elegant than monster hunter? It's clunky as all hell!

There are a few inaccuracies and outdated information in this video. Most of them are small like the iai Spirit slash being called the iai slash even though they are 2 different moves and the "potential new counter" is actually just the spirit round-slash that can now be charged by holding R2 instead of just combod into. Notable omission's are the ability to cancel a helmbreaker midair, the change in moves once one hits red gauge, the triangle combo now the crimson slash combo and the Foresight becomes the Foresight wirl slash. These changes are important for every LS main

I'm always gonna have the Charge Blade as my secondary, its two weapons in one on its own essentially. From there I'll switch in the Longbow, Dual Blades and Insect Glaive as weapons I like/think I'm good with. And I'll dabble with some others now that I can always have a backup if a hunt gets dicey

I will ALWAYS be a Horn main. Always have been, always will. However with the secondary weapon choice, I'm thinking Gunlance. Felt amazing, as well as the slip'n'slide sword and shield. Lol

Love IG. Couldn't care less about the helicopter. I'm more intrigued at how much stronger the bug makes the ground game and more excited to just use the bug MORE. I mean it's called an insect glaive, i want more insect.

Charge Blade and Great Sword share the key trait of missing their highest damage attacks because of bad positioning.

I've played over 100 hours on Monster Hunter Rise (PS5) with just the Light Bowgun. I find the buttons so difficult, so I can't seem to learn with a melee weapon. Yes, everything about Monster Hunter is so hard to learn. I really want to learn the Insect Glaive.

i learned switch axe recently on Monster Hunter World but I think I will try and learn Charge Blade and then maybe second weapon being Switch axe or something. I like the more complicated weapons

I wish I could swap which hand holds the shield for all weapons. It always felt weird for me to have my character holding the shiel with his right hand and attacking with his left hand.

One charge blade for the sword, the other for the axe. That or a CB/SwAxe combo, so you have mobile sword/damage axe/mobile axe/damage sword, because the only thing better than 2 weapons is 4 weapons (and enough gauges, meters, and timers to satiate an ADHD+Autistic brain).
