Out of the Monster Hunter games I played since 1st generation, this is without a doubt the best interpretation of Fatalis yet. I can feel the power and level of danger that he imposes here than any other MH game to date. In lore, it was said that it was a Fatalis that was so powerful that it single handedly separated the old and new world, which at one time was all together into one supercontinent. The MH team finally nailed the perfect Fatalis fight that they probably couldn't do back then due to hardware limitations. I love they brought back the old Proof of a Hero theme from MHFU. So much nostalgia.

We finally kill it. My tip is go for duo and set vigorwasp on palico equipment. Get safeguard and insurance(not all the time though). Just continue attacking him with pre caution and just dont die until its final phase. And wall bang him as soon as he’s out of rage. Bring your highest dragon element it could be alatreon or kjarr decay. Pair it with divine blessing and agitator. Devine blessing(secret) is such a saver from this titan. And lastly his last stage is hardest of all almost all his attacks are one hit so stay aggressive with extra precaution. You can do it guys happy hunting

@@Yukito746 Yep. I haven't beat him yet but I can always topple it. If you're playing in a team i can give a little advice. Put heavy artillery, and eat Felyne Bombardier (cmiiw it increases ballista damage) then use ghillie to load canon. Then draw it's attention to the canon and use temporal. Shoot only 1 canon first, then go to ballista to shoot 2 ammo to its chest. It would immediately topple it. Then look for the best time to use the 2nd canon. Shooting with roaming ballista could also topple it in the 2nd phase, but it would need more ballista ammo

I would recommend using the cannons for the first knockdown and saving the binders for his last phase. Focus everything on the head to weaken his fire attacks. And yes, divine blessing 5 is such a help. A mount is also great but not that easy to get. Also some levels of evade window are great. Morph axe with ZSD spam is great to damage the head.

I don‘t know, it‘s a different kind of difficulty. One fight(midir) needs you to have a higher concentration but for a shorter amount of time( I need about 6min). With Fatalis, I don‘t need that much concentration with my Elemental CS build because I have Evasion +5 and dodging becomes very easy, but I need around 25-30 min. In that time span I‘m bound to make mistakes. Also in while you have multiple carts for Fatalis, you have only one for Midir and you‘ll have to fight him from the beginning. But in the end, I think for me Fatalis is worse, because I‘m just worse at MH than I‘m in Dark Souls and in theory you can just cheese Midir with magic and or the thunder Bow... Thats just my opinion though

And to think this isn't even the Fatalis that wiped out a super-advanced civilization and sent humanity to near extinction with its own action. This is just a regular Fatalis, and it's one of the strongest creatures in existence beneath White Fatalis. The version of "Proof of a Hero" that plays is the exact one from the Monster Hunter PS2 game, the first ever, that also played when Fatalis was near death. The victory theme is that same one as well.

That moment. That one moment when you pull that lever. The dragonator is fired, shaving off a massive 10% of it's health. And you hear it. Those first opening strings of proof of a hero start playing and you feel like you could do anything. you fight to the very end, pushing with everything you've got and then you see it... [MAIN OBJECTIVE COMPLETE] And a wave of relief washes over you. you did it. You just killed a god.
