Ah yes, looking back at final dev diary when they played the clip of Kaname and Ryozo attending the reveal event. Look at how happy Kaname watching it while Stars at our back played in the background. After so many years, finally the game that he created with concept that's completely strange for the market at that time. Ended in the world of AAA games.

The first game of the new generation will be for the consoles like Xbox and playstation while the 2nd game of that same generation will be for switch/handhelds. It's kind of good for both parties because everyone will get a monster hunter game to play every two years.

srai12snake true, while the game looks completely different, the core gameplay is almost exactly the same as the older generation. Only this time quality of life improvement are made so people who want to get into the game but was turned down by the frustrating system can finally enjoy it. If you still feel like it’s mediocre, maybe it’s just not the type of game for you, but I would still recommend others to give it a try
