The mod is an interesting concept but it lacks subtlety. The uncanniness of the PS1 style graphics and the occasional weird sound or faroff Herobrine sighting or odd structure gives it a nice creepy feel, but then it starts shoving him in your face and blaring spooky ambience while spawning invincible ghosts on top of you and it just kinda devolves into another generic "I INSTALLED ALL 50 SCARY DWELLERS, CAN I SURVIVE?!" experience.

Thing that killed it for me was all the modern features, I’m pretty sure it’s really easy to get old versions of Minecraft or just remove new things but yeah, it doesn’t feel like a true ps1 experience when the warden is killing you.

Reminder that this is a modpack, not one single mod. The invisible ghosts are part of a mod called ''Insanity Mod'' (which has its own complexity), and of course, the Herobrine mod (one of the multiples out there).

@@jrperry1611 The Warden is the #1 reason I quit playing this mod. It's so broken and ruins the experience. Any time you go deep in a cave, a Warden you can't see will just laser beam you through a wall and you'll lose everything. It'd be different if it worked like a Warden in vanilla Minecraft, but the way it's implemented in this modpack is just so broken.

The best way to get rid of those whispers is sleeping, eating food and being around friends or villagers increases it in pretty sure. Killing animals lowers your sanity by ALOT and being in the dark also lowers your sanity, rain lowers sanity, being in water lowers sanity and being around hostile mobs lowers it too, and haveing a tamed animal die lowers your sanity to 0 instantly. (there are more things that lower it than increase it). And all the entities are kill able thought they have 500 health no joke

According to the lead developer of minecraft PSX, The dragon is unable to be damaged due to an optifine bug, and the game is supposed to be beatable, which he says he's going try patching as of 4 months ago, i have no idea still if its been patched yet or not, but definitely do be on the lookout for updates on the mod. Official statement from xKazIsKoolx in a comments section of a full playthrough video: "Haven't watched the video yet, but I got a good idea of how it's gonna end. Yeah...sorry about that lol. Right now, the dragon is basically immune to melee because of a dumbass optifine bug. It'll be fixed in the next update. There's another bug with optifine which makes it so the dragon doesn't turn red when you hit it. I hate optifine. The goal is to completely replace it with a selection of alternative mods. Hopefully that'll be done by 2.0, as that will be the final update to this modpack. Thank you all for playing this stupid pack of mine, the support means a lot to me."

The sanity mod is the reason why the mobs go black and the entity's with white eyes appear there's a way to make them go away but you can't see the Hud due to mod compatibility issues so I reccomend you delete it in the pack @Gabe
