We surely couldn't forget the flagship monster of Monster Hunter World. The Elder Dragon of Extinction himself. For this hunt I'm taking on the Tempered Nergigante with the Bow. As much as I hate this dude for the stunt he pulled during this hunt. I freaking love Nergigante! Absolutely love him to death 😈

Its quite ironic you posted this video today because I fought nergigante for the first time today.... Oh boy😂😂😂 I don't necessarily expect a response but if there's anyway you could help out a fellow bow user with some tips I would really appreciate it man and loved the video today keep up the good work

You...don't expect a response?! Now I'm going all out! I always go with the Kadachi Bow. The higher the upgrade the better. Nergi is weak to Thunder and the Kadachi Bow has amazing Thunder damage. Second my strat. I spend the beginning of the fight dodging and attacking until I see a good portion of white spikes. Especially on the head. Then I start pumping in the paralysis coatings. Once paralyzed (fairly easy with the Kadachi Bow) I move into the face for a continous Power shot to Arc Shot to Power Shot to Arc shot (and so on ) combo. As long as your close enough you're putting in good damage and building to knock him out. The early strat blows through his health quickly. The rest of the fight is simple dodging and attack. I don't dragon piercer much because it's very dangerous with Nergi. Only other tips I got are bomb him when he sleeps and when a majority of those spikes are black keep your distance. He's going to divebomb soon. You'll need to sheathe and do a leap of faith to survive those. Any questions? 🙂

Early. I would personally suggest the Kadachi set. I still use it even when fighting tempered monsters as you can see with Nergigante here. Pukei is also one I crafted first thing in high rank. Not the best but one I used.

How do you get the tempered elders?

It's a bit up to chance when grabbing Tempered tracks. I get a lot of tempered Vaal Hazak quests.

Vaal's so common for some damn reason. Best way to get Tempered Elders is just grabbing tracks from *other* Tempered Elders. If you have that Tempered Kirin quest, just follow him around for a while and grab tracks. Always grab tracks. *Always.*
