Much as I would love a spinosaurus(bipedal or quadrupedal), I don't think we'd get completely new monsters outside of Valfalc(Barufaruku), just returning ones and variants, maybe a new final boss and that's it. I'd personally like more boss herbivores though, ankylosaur or a sauropod or a rhino boss would be nice. It's kinda weird how the MH world ecosystem could be sustained when carnivores not only far outnumber the preys but 99% of carnivores also have exploding tails and lightning breath and whatnot.

Sand Katze a hunting horn user can also heal you though so why does a barrel user matter, a hunting horn can heal buff and attack more often than someone using a barrel. because the barrel user has to stop to heal and can't heal you until the gauge is full. a hunting horn user can skillfully make a heal into an atk by being near the monster hen they start the song

Not to be rude, but the blue bubbles pretty obviously exploded. So my guess is that they do more damage and don't put you into the bubble status, as the prowler did not have any bubbles on it.

to all of the people wanting a monster hunter on a console, the 3ds' days are basically numbered now that the switch is coming out not just the wii u. Portable titles seem to do well in the east which is why capcom sticks to them and since the Switch is a console/portable i highly doubt capcom will ignore it for long

It's strikingly obvious that the Mitsusune deviant's blue bubbles are blast, and that it can also probably blast blight you with it's ground bubbles. Could also bubble blight i dunno. I'm guessing the astalos will be similar to deviant zinogre except it can fly and toss electric black holes. Besides those two Glaven and Gammoth look more fierce and amped up. I'm really hyped for this one, I want a release date posted ASAP!

The basically made this game the most customization game ever!! I really hope this is put back on console for ps4 when/if they come out with another generation of monster hunter. That would make this game the ultimate game to play by yourself and online. Plus they would be able to load a crap ton of other monsters and features and probably super hard quests as well.

Blue fire makes sense, with the Fox-theme going on with Misutsune. Foxes and fire are kinda connected to each other. Ninetales (the pokemon) was also a fiery fox-thingy.

I like the look of alchemy style, it'll give me another option for my sns build. up until now evade sns has been a bit limited to striker. (round force, absolute evade, absolute readiness) even if a deviant weapon made it extremely efficient

Honestly I LOVE monster hunter, I played pretty much every one of them from portable 2 till generations, but I feel like it's getting a bit stale. The styles, the flashy moves, it's a lot of fun, but it's becoming less and less about hunters and monsters and more like anime characters with super abilities and... well, monsters :D I don't know if someone gets my point, but I would like a change, with some survival mechanics (nothing too hard), focused on exploring, collecting, crafting, mixing herbs and mushrooms. I would love to literally hunt a huge creature by looking for a trail, setting traps or baits. The first installments were all about this, they were more "realistic" and engaging. I get that the games had to become more accessible but, I'm starting to lose my intrest because of all this jumps, flips, air moves, special abilities and so on.

Hakushi firstly XX is more of an expansion to X/gen than an entirely new game, however most monster Hunter games are like that they build from what they know in iterative design, and if I had to guess I'd say that while XX is being made they will already be working on the next project (stuff like the engine etc)

Honestly, I am NOT happy with Deviant Astalos' s magnetic bullshit, unless it can be avoided by using primarily bone equipment, like FFIV's Lodestone Cave. I'd rather the magnet shit stay in Frontier. Also, sorry, but the game just feels bad when they give monsters TOO MUCH range... not to mention, Glavenus jumps around MORE than the already annoying Brachydios pattern, and it can hit you with half its moves from halfway across a zone... It's like fighting Garuga or Chameleos in that shitty tunnel. seriously, they wanna add more stuff like Glav? he's got basically 4 moves with no tell to keep you off him, and can cover 90-360 degrees with each attack but his bite. Couple that with trying to attack, and his Brachydios-sidestep puts him the next town over, where he can resume hitting you like Dhalsim... it's annoying. TOO annoying.
