Big rubber wheels in motion connecting with other rubber wheels in motion should cause more than a "scuff"... then hitting large rocks with suspension that springy I'd expect to flip aswell... Somehow your grievances with the game help sell it for me but unfortunately this game doesn't look like it will be Wreckfest with extreme damage mods on. Your video was well made and I enjoyed the watch and opinions, thank you. One last thing, I'm too lazy to search and this video is the first time I've seen you, but if you enjoy racing games that have realistic damage that carries over to adaptive triggers for PS5, try Wreckfest with extreme damage settings turned on via the options. Brilliant game, you don't have to review it, just try it and enjoy yourself.

Man Milestone sure knows attention to detail lately monster jam showdown was good and played Hot Wheels unleashed 1 and 2 is very fun seeing the paint chip off, finger prints and seeing the car inside and out how close it is to the actual toy models

@@DrAce46 Yeah man, we build a lot of the fiberglass bodies for Monster Jam. The trucks in the game that have our logo on the hoods (Jester, Kraken, Excaliber) are independent trucks that we sponsor directly.

I actually chose to pre order this over test drive unlimited solar crown after seeing how poor test drive is performing. Kind of glad this is a pick up and play arcade racer. The sim market is saturated these days.

Being a Monster Truck fan, I played most of the games. I would agree the handling and AI is a little rough. It feels like the try to put some sim in the handling. I spent alot of my time in the training area to get better feel. For me it takes the best and some bad points from other Monster Jam games. Just having 3 Stadiums with a 4 coming as DLC is weird choose but almost every track layout in real life Monster Jam of today is in the game. The trucks well with some being on other chassis, looking like the Spin Master toys, and Field and Milestone changes too them looks great. Milestone finds a way to look real and they hit it out of the park! A good blind of Real life, Toy, and Fantasy skins. I brought the Big Air edition. This game has some highs and lows but it fun once you understand it. For me so far 8/10 or buy it that much fun. But none monster truck fans looking for a fun game wait for a sale! SIDE NOTE I haven't raced a Boss Truck yet what you want to do is have a truck that has the Destruction Skill get it level 3 and get the points 1st then focus on beat the Boss all in the same run hope that helps!

@@ChipChocolateDrive yea thats a big theme with Milestone. They used to make yearly dirt bike games and on some tracks your game just crashes or freezes every time, invisible barriers (just like here lol) and so many countless bugs that would be so easy to fix if they cared about their games even a little bit. They notoriously refuse to interact with their customers and ignore any and all feedback. People would say they are just as bad as EA if they were bigger. side note: they have since lost the license to Monster Energy Supercross AND MXGP likely due to 99% of the fanbase hating the studio. (so they lost BOTH of their dirt bike series)

@@AsthmaticallyGifted after playing the game with friends and little Chip I’ve come to enjoy the game. All things aside I’m glad we got a monster jam game that has Multiplayer. Im able to play with my friends in the monster truck community. Im also looking forward to starting our sign up series and making some content for the game.
