@@MuthukrishnanBellie thats a good point, though in a way johan is also wierdly optimistic: his entire crusade is to prove continously to himself, and then tenma, that the world isnt worth living in: that he has to prove it over and over again perhaps suggests he never believed it (maybe he would have just commited suicide otherwise), whilst tenmas misery is *inspite* of him believing the world is good. Not sure. What do you think about his need to believe he was the one taken to the rose mansion rather than his sister? not sure where it all fits in
