Monster Lake Trout over Memorial Weekend

What a fun weekend with the Davis bunch. Saturday some of hop aboard and we head to Hideout to find some Lake Trout. Monday (Memorial Day) I get the opportunity to join some Davis's on their brand new Hewe's Craft 220 Ocean Pro and head to Anvil Draw to once again Target Lake Trout using our Lake Trolls and Mega Tubes.

I was thinking about this method on my drive home yesterday. What do you think about having a swivel hooked to you lake troll to the down rigger and then having a small release on the back of your lake troll that you run your line in with your tube jig. This way you don't fight your lake troll. What do you think?
