I am getting my granddaughter into the outdoors. She loves the woods. She is going bear hunting this year. It will be her first hunt. She is nine years old now. It was hard teaching her the scope . I live in NC worked on a headboat back in the 90's we caught hog fish SW of the Beaufort inlet off shore of Wilmington NC never one that big I still go fishing on the headboat when I can always have a good catch.

Been spearing in SE NC for years. Its a true hidden gem. I love going on dive trips and trying to tell people how good NC is and they don't believe me... LOL. It can be tricky and technical so gotta be on you toes. Nice haul.

So glad you had success in my home waters Gabe! Yeah we have to dive deeper to get good viz but u see some really big stuff! My personal best hog was a 24 pounder I literally had to push away from me so I could line my gun up on him. Was after a lobster that I just couldn’t get out of the ledge and when I backed out well, there he was! Great footage of the way up!

When are you going to DIVE for stone crab Early in the season the water is still warm and the crab are plentiful Lee and Collier are prime time are at least were when I dove them.back then when I got started you could take 100lb a day my best was 38lb 3 tanks shallow and the woman diving with me was as good as I was.
