Monster Mississippi River Catfish

In this episode of BlacktipH, I go fishing for monster catfish in the Mississippi River with my good buddy Capt. Blake. We were using a giant yellowfin tuna carcass for chum to lure these monster catfish towards our boat. For bait, we were using yellowfin tuna, wahoo, cobia, and dolphin (mahi-mahi).

The catfish with the weird sores was a Breeder in the river. By far the oldest catfish I’ve seen and it’s skinnier then a rail compared to the others. I bet when she was in her prime and eating she weighed well over 60 pounds. Great fish you guys!
