One point: in this moment 9:59, after you see the gains detail, it will lose 3 weeks lifespan if it's win the tournment, and -6 weeks if it do OK or lose (wherever is an official tourment or not). And if the monster ask you for playing or a treat after the battle and you say no, it'll gain +19 and +15 stress respectly; and if you say yes, it'll gain 0

I had a Suezo and it was five years old when it died. The info I read said it can live for nine years, but because I did fight alot using it and because I never gave it any item that it asked after winning battles the life span was reduced by 4 years. I was able to farm 120k with it.

I have two questions for you: 1) How will this method work for monsters that favor intelligence over power, but have more power based moves ? (such is the case with plants, for example) 2) How did you record the game for this video?

1) For monsters that you want to raise Intelligence instead of Power, replace Pull with Meditate in the routines in this video. For Plants, I would not recommend training Pow since all Plant's Pow moves are weak. But if you're training a Kato, you can pick whether you want to go the Int route or the Pow route (Int will be easier) 2) I use Camtasia Studio to record the game while playing on ePSXe emulator

@@teawch Thank you for answering :D! Yes, you are right. Plants do have very weak power moves. It's just that I like to train mine to be reliable at short range, as well as long range. There is life drain, but it requires an evil plant and I just can't be asked to train an evil monster with a long lifespan. XD Also thanks for the information about the emulator it may come in handy. I've been looking for a recommendation on a emulator that could play this game. I still have my PS One. It still works. The CD has an hiccup once in a while, though. Any way... Great! And take care about this 3:04 every time you scold it because it failure a drill, it gets +4 stress, that routine will work always that the monster don't failure very often. If it failures and you don't scold it, the stress doen't modify, but you still gain the stress of the drill. So it can modify it's lifespan

Thanks! I've always wanted to know how much stress monsters get from being scolded. Do you happen to know the fatigue and stress monsters get from doing Great or Cheat in drills? I know they get less fatigue compared to Success or Failure, but don't know the exact numbers.

@@teawch Yes, whan they make cheat or great in a light drill, they get +1 to +5 fatigue instead of +10, and in heavy drill they get +10 to +14 instead of +15. Stress is always the same exact numbers. Another thing: Nuts Oil gives to -3 stress if they hace 30 tress or more, -2 if they have 20 to 30, and -1 if they have to 10 stress. if you scold him after cheating,it gives +12 stress is it feel sorry, and +6 if is unwilling. If it cheats and you dont scold him: all same. If it get great and don't praise him: +6 stress. If you praise: all same

Hello there, I have a question. I recently raised a Blue Hare from the shrine (idk if market, combine, or shrine takes a factor into anything), and I made sure to get all techs and unlock all the tech chains for it. I unlocked everything in the end except withering techs and the Heavy Smash. So that includes the unlockable special techs like Kung Fu Kick and Big Bang. After I beat Holly in the legends cup, I decided that my Blue Hare had done enough, and I was excited to raise a Wild Hare since it looks so cool. After I got Bang and Kung Fu Kick with the Wild Hare, Errow tells me in the Kawrea Errantry that Big Bang "will be hard to obtain". Why is this the case when I have already unlocked Big Bang with the last Hare I raised? Does the Tech Chain unlocked with a lower tech that is also a special tech does not carry over to the next monster? Also in counting the techniques that will be inherited through combining, do they count the special techs? Does dadge's comments whether the combination is good or not factor in with technique inheritance? I raised my Blue Hare to unlock the tech chains to later make it into another Blue Hare. Making it into a Wild Hare was unplanned and so I couldn't engineer it's stats to match the Wild Hare. So if the stats doesn't match, and I get a bad combination, will I also get fewer techs or does it only affect stats?

Technique uses The number of times a move is used does not get carried over if your combined monster doesn't start with that tech. Since your Wild Hare wasn't born with Bang, it will have to use Bang 50 times before it can learn Big Bang Special Techs Special Techs can't be inherited, so no matter how many times you reset, your Wild Hare will never have Bang from the start. Number of techs inherited 2/3 of the number of techs of Parent 1 can be inherited, not counting the 2 starting basic techs and special techs Dadge's comment Dadge's comment doesn't affect number of techs inherited, it only affects the starting stats of the combined monster

There shouldn't be any other requirements. What happens when you try to do Errantry training in Kawrea? If Errow still stays it's difficult for you Hare to acquire a new technique in Errantry, then you have not used Bang 50 times yet

Sorry, I don't know. I read on some forums that the loss of lifespan depends on the outcome of the battle, like how many critical hits your monster took or if your monster gets KOed. I have not verified if this is true or not though.

Short answer: The 10 weeks are subtracted from the adolescent stage Long answer: Life stage is determined from the remaining weeks of your monster's lifespan. Take a look at the chart for Hare here: legendcup.com/faqmr2monsterdata.php Let's say your Hare had 205 weeks left and suddenly lost 10 weeks. It would have 195 weeks remaining. This would mean it lost 5 weeks from Stage 4 (Adolescent) and 5 weeks from Stage 5 (Adult) Note: A monster actually has 10 life stages, I simplified it to 4, so Adolescent is Stage 3 and 4, Adult is Stage 5 and 6

Yea, you need to receive the letter of invitation for each Major 4 tournament. Freeze your monster and revive them on Jan 1, Apr 1, Jul 1, Oct 1 and let them rest to get the invitations while conserving your monster's lifespan

Special Techs don't carry over after combining. You will have to use Five Balls 50 times again.

Sorry my previous answer was too vague. Here's what I really meant. For the number of times a technique is used to carry over through combining, you need to start out with the technique before that. For example, let's say you have a parent Zuum with Jumping Claw and Diving Claw. After combining, you get a Zuum without Jumping Claw. Your new Zuum cannot learn Diving Claw. Even after learning Jumping Claw, your new Zuum will have to use Jumping Claw 50x again before it can learn Diving Claw. So for your case, since your combined Zuum has Jumping Fire after combining, the 50x from the parent Zuum gets carried over, so the new Zuum can learn Fire Breath right away. Fire Bomb, however, is a Special Tech that stems off another Special Tech. Since there is no way to carry over a Special Tech through combining, you will have to learn Five Balls, then use Five Balls 50x again before you can learn Fire Bomb. Hope this helps!

Go with Pow or Int first. Train Pow if your monster has more Pow type techniques (the yellow colored techniques like 1-2 Punch and Straight). For example, Zuum, Arrowhead, Gaboo will train Pow first. Train Int if your monster has more Int type techniques (green color like Gas). For example, Suezo, Pixie, Phoenix

You can check which ones you're missing on the Monster stat page, in the area next to Fame, you need to see 4 badges for that monster. If your monster has 4 badges already, let it rest on 3wk March and you should get invited. If you still don't get an invitation, maybe you already got invited once, but didn't realize it. Check if a S-class battle is available on 4wk April.
