i tried so hard not to cry, So my theory was correct, something/someone got control over Kai, Commander Hazel sound European, yeah Kai you want forgiveness you must earn it and don't mention Tilly. Well done Kai you can't take care of yourself and now look at what happened with Tilly and between you and Marcel. I wonder if that infected monster later into the video extracted Marcel's blood to make a clone of him, or perhaps to inject it into his brothers corpse. Darkery i don't know where this season is going BUT GIVE ME MORE. oh and for those people you want to see Kai suffering from the spirit of Tilly haunting him here you go: 23:20

Researching this Further with past episodes and current episodes as of how can an infected get cured mentally, my best guess is to assume every infected has a parasite in the brain of the host so like in S1 Ep2 somehow get the parasite out of the host body and have the body in with some conservative fluids you can cure infected individuals mentally, I can't say physically as you saw with S1 but if we are able to cure infected people ( Not Andy ( Marcel's brother) its too late for him as you heard Kai mention in S2 Ep12 he nothing but a corpse being controlled by the parasite like a puppet ) we can have an army of mutated soldiers. If Darkery makes this canon like my last theory i would legit go nuts.

Researching much further seems like this monster towards the end of the video is the same one that "killed" Andy and it seems like the this injection was just not for knocking out Marcel but actually was the same Virus Andy used on himself during the final moments of season 1. Seems like Marcel's rage, anger and sorrow will only cause the virus to grow stronger, so this is why Hazel's dad ( the commander who is not infected ) said that Marcel will join his brother soon. With Marcels physical and mental enhancements this will cause a world ending catastrophe if Marcel's kill switch is left on for good.

ok so, looking from here 15:35 looks like infected hosts will keep their consciousness for some time. On this scene I think sniper was blocking of all paths from the survivors so he wouldn't get to them once his kill switch turns on, because as far as I'm concerned infected can't use guns (we don't talk about accelerator).
