Andre "Black Nerd" Review of Monster Trucks starring Lucas Till, Jane Levy, Thomas Lennon, Rob Lowe and the CGI tentacle monster Creech. It's only January but could we already have the worst movie of 2017? And are the production stories true?
Synopsis: Tripp (Lucas Till), a high school senior, builds a Monster Truck from bits and pieces of scrapped cars. After an accident at a nearby oil-drilling site displaces a strange and subterranean creature with a taste and a talent for speed, Tripp may have just found the key to getting out of town and a most unlikely friend.

Sounds like that's part of what made it so aggravating for Andre... Sounds like it had alot of potential if only they fully embraced the stupidity of it all and given the spotlight to the monsters themselves... Maybe involve a car race with some rivals, only for the rivals to get monsters of their own... (Imagine how cool of a plot that would have been if they had to rescue the monsters family from a mad scientist who is making clones of them to put in his own cars so that he can sell them or use them for world domination or something crazy like that... Could you imagine them walking through a laboritory with a bunch of tentacle monsters growing in test tubes? Bonus points if the Army is involved because they want to put them inside military vehicles...)

Michael J. Caboose On the contrary, Nickelodeon movies are kind of underrated. Barnyard, tha cartoon-adapted films, Hotel For Dogs, Rango, and the live-action Charlotte's Web were all good films. Everything went down in 2012 and there was no actual effort from the Nickelodeon movie productions. It's more like they slapped the label on the film rather than contribute to it. It was really laziness and the movie delays since 2014 that really killed this movie.

At least Tom Holland actually _DOES look_ a _bit young-looking_ ,and thus they (Marvel/The MCU) do actually sometimes portray Peter Parker/Spider-man as a young man/youngster in some iterations of the comic/franchise,though..so..
