What honestly shocks me about the Titan Tech figures is that they haven't made the one that actually makes any lick of sense - MechaGodzilla. Even so, they're after my Trendmasters loving heart. Between these and Super7's Shogun Warrior and Marusan Reaction figures, I love that we've been getting some out-of-the-norm stuff lately.

In my mind, the titan tech is basically assembling the monsters as a team. So far, Kong & Godzilla are the fighters, and Rodan is their eyes in the sky. My guess is that Mothra will be covered in black armor to jump out at the bad guy from the shadows

Having grown up with the Trendmasters line of figures since I was 3, these brings back to many memories. It's not the same exactly, but the vibe is still there. It's sadly, been a while since I held a piece of Godzilla merch, meant for a child and actually wanted to play with it - and not just cram it on a shelf, admire it and never touch it again. Hard to admit that in confidence, but I know that's the reality for others as well. Playmates doing something right. Im a bit basic, but i'd love to see a MG21 done. Have his arm split open and its a massive satellite cannon. Hidden missiles and grinders on his forearm and shin. Go absolutely CRAZY. Also they should give him articulated fingers - lol at the very least.

I think the weird "flesh flaps" (ugh I hate even saying that) are meant to function as a sort of tripod so you can have Rodan in a sort of "flying" pose. I feel like there was a less horrifying way to do that but that's just me

Unfortunately, playmates have dropped the godzilla license altogether in a tweet. (or at least for their toho classics line) they'll be releasing figures for the upcoming godzilla x kong movie but the future for the line seems uncertain and this might be the end (unless they renewed the license and I was unaware)
