I met Melissa Barrera at monsterpalooza earlier this year. Almost waited two hours to meet her, but getting to talk to her made every single minute of those two hours worth it. She was super awesome.

I met Melissa Barrera at Monster Mania she was so nice, friendly to meet. Favorite famous person I ever met at a con. Getting a hug from her was the highlight and best part. My dad had no idea who she was, and she still gave my dad a hug. I showed him Abigail and he liked it.

Melissa really is an angel sent down from Heaven 💓!!! Her hospitality is absolutely second to none! I got two hugs from her when i met her. When I first greeted her I initiated it and when I was saying goodbye and thanking her I originally insisted on shaking her hand and she was like give me a hug 🤗 Also she is tall just like in the movies!!! Its very rare that I meet celebrities that look the same height as they do on screen. More often than not celebrities are tiny in person as I tower over so many people! Melissa is really tall in real life!No movie magic needed with her 💞

Never clicked on a video so fast ever lol! Great haul Cameron! I got to meet 4 people. Melissa Barrera, Mikey Madison, Tony Revolori, and Juliette Lewis are the ones I got autographs and photos with and I also got my photo op with Robert Englund! Melissa is probably my favorite meet at a convention of all time! A long wait but it’s so worth it! Humble, sweet, and her hugs are so genuine! I hope they bring her back for more shows down the road! I might get her again on Abigail and I rarely double dip on autographs and all that but she is a rare exception! Mikey was very nice. I think she just has bad anxiety which I can relate to because I too suffer from anxiety, but she was still smiling and took her time with me. Tony was uber cool and Juliette is literally the life of the party! Such a cool lady! Robert Englund was amazing too! If you want, I posted my recap if you want to see what I got signed and all that! Once again, great haul and I really do hope I get to see you someday at a con! :)

Mikey has bad social anxiety. Her agent said she had a panic attack before her first Con at Spookala was surprised she did one again. I'm afraid sometimes to meet Celebs if i'm a big fan incase a bad encounter cough cough Bette Midler. Melissa and Juliette were amazing with the fans!!! I agree 80 is a bit much for Marley to sign your poster. The upcharge for stuff like that is way out of hand imo.

Awwww how sweet Melissa is!! She loves you!! She has awesome handwriting too!! Since you mentioned that many celebrities don't have many pens to choose from, do they usually have blue sharpies? That's my go to pen if I'm getting a card or photo signed so I usually make sure there's enough light areas on them since they are bad for dark cards and photos.

Melissa Barrera is so cool! I always wanted to ask, is there any special reason you get autographs instead of a photo? I'm always in a dilemma if I should get an autograph or a photo when I go to a con.....

I personally think autographs are cooler to display and also signify a moment, whereas photos are more personalized but just as cool. It's really just personal preference, but I like both.

How long does it take for the marker to dry? I want to get my poster signed.

@@bripage1 sometimes instantly, sometimes a few minutes. Paint pens look the best, but take a while to dry. Black sharpies are my personal favorite because they pop on light surfaces and dry almost instantly.

I don't get this ? Let me get this straight...Normal Joe blows who might work at Burger King, take their hard earned money to go stand in a line for hour's to then pay more money to meet a movie star who's already rich, so they can sign a piece of paper. What's the point? It's Not like Any of these people actually Care, they just want your money and they didn't have anything else to do that day except take your money. That's just weird. IMO.
