Having seen the Finns attack most of these holes for many yeats this is really interesting. Would say that most of the Finns will attack the many holes Ricky is playing conservative. Will see how Ricky's gameplan will change or not in the r2, depending on whether the finns will be succesfull or bogeying!

Difference of not being familiar with the course and not being familiar. Ricky doesn't even mention some of the lines Finnish players are taking. I expect Ricky to change some of the plans made in this video.

I think this course seems very fair. You hit the lines, which is where pro players do excel, you get a chance at a birdie, you don't hit them. In ball golf, going -10 over 3 rounds is really good. So this seems fair.

Ricky is such a veteran. It sounds like he designed the course the way he has every variable and nuance of each hole swirling around in his head.

In this video he doesn't really sound like he designed the course. It is clear that this is not a familiar course to him. In some holes he doesn't mention the lines that many Finnish pros who knows the course well throw. Some other US pros have had similar comments to Ricky and they haven't noticed couple of the lines. Only natural since they are not familiar to the course and most likely have not watched videos from Finnish pros. Most likely US pros will notice those lines and there are always changes in a game plan along the time. These are very good videos though and can be very helpful for less experienced players who are interested in making game plans for themselves.

I think Ricky and MDG Media are the only ones out there filming practice rounds with catch cams. Seeing where the discs land goes a long way.

Pretty sure the course has gotten it's name since in Finland the longest (often the most difficult and usually a par 5) hole on the course is often called "the Monster hole". However, since there are so many really long, really difficult holes in the Tampere Disc Golf Center, the entire course is "The Monster" 😂

In my opinion your gameplan might be a bit too conservative on this course. I think at least most of the finns will be trying to attack almost every single hole. But we will see who will play the best in this course. Good luck🎉
