Wow awesome story. A whole show could be made on this premise. A scary thing i thought of after was, theres no way to stop the company from continuing with business so all the programmers can do is make sure nothing goes wrong. If they left, they could be replaced with less competent people, if they leaked this info to the feds then everyone would have access to the demon summoning technology. Like imagine having a job like this, where you're in fear of what you create and having absaloutely no exit plan Loved it

The audio seems to be muffled, with many pops on "p" sounds. There is also a lot of sub base noise, probably what causes the muffled sound.

It seems to be affecting Kate's voiceover more, but your intro is also suspiciously more muffled than usual. I have tested it on 2 devices.

@@BogdanTheGeek I appreciate the feedback. There are a few factors at work here: 1. Kate's recording was last year, this episode is from season 1 of MP, we were both learning about how to record her, and it's noticeably better in recent episodes. Compare with this month's, for instance: kzbin.info/www/bejne/harVnoSXbbuSl5Y 2. You're hearing my new mic for the first time in this intro - I finally caved and bought an SM7B, that classic 'podcast' mic everyone has. I'd resisted buying it for 3 years, thinking it was 'clichéd' or 'over-used'. Turns out, both those words are synonyms for 'industry-standard'... When comparing it to the last 3-4 videos, where I was trialling out a Rode NT1 v5, it's much less sensitive (that's good, less mouth clicks!) but also a less sparkling top end. I'm not sure if it's worse, or muddier, but it's certainly bassier, and I'll have to dial that in to get a better sound. Thank you so much for the feedback, I care about sound quality enormously, so this will feed into my production evolution, every single new podcast or video I make, I improve the sound in a little way. 🙂

Regarding the desire to do a versatile sound engine on RasPi, I am on the same quest. Could you tell me which Plugins you'd like to replace by open source ones running on RasPi ?
