Ooh, I'll tell you my favorite monster! My favorite is the kitsune from Japan, but it also has similar lore in China and I believe also Korea. A Kitsune is a shape-shifting fox with nine tails. It was the inspiration for Ninetales the pokemon as well. Foxes are already my favorite animal, and one with nine tails just seems even more cuddly. Even though they usually take the shape of beautiful women...that they've slaughtered...Also a great bossfight in Okami!

I got a theory! The Nguruvilu sounds like the ahuizohtl from Aztec mythology. It's a dog-like creature with a human hand on the end of its tail. If you drop the baby, she sends a snowstorm on you Kuchiesake-onna: A vengeful spirit that asks if she's pretty. Yes and no are the wrong answers. To get away, throw candy at her face or tell her she's average. Teke Teke: A school girl who got pushed in front of a train and lost her legs. She then became a vengeful spirit and goes around asking: "Where are my legs?" You must say the name of the train station to survive, or she cuts your legs off as well and you become another of her. Or she just chases you and if you escape her that time, you die 3 days later. Tomino's Hell: This is a popular Japanese story, it is about a poem called "Tomino's Hell." They say that you should only read with your mind, and never out loud. If you were to read it out loud, then you must take responsibility for your actions. "Tomino's Hell" (トミノの地獄) is written by Yomota Inuhiko (四方田 犬彦) in a book called "The Heart is Like a Rolling Stone" (心は転がる石のように), And was included in Saizo Yaso's (西條 八十) 27th collection of poems in 1919. It's not sure how this rumor started, but there's only a warning that, "If you read this poem out loud, tragic things (凶事) will happen." It just looks like a curse. It asks to not compare this with the common "You'll grow taller" or even "My parents died." Do you get a sense of how dangerous this is? Heres the poem if you want to read it.
